Lovely-feeling keyboard - does the job.
My ROCCAT Vulcan 80 arrived today to replace my broken and out-of-warranty Vulcan 100 AIMO.I went for this one as it's black instead of the silver-faced 100 AIMO, hoping that it'd look a bit sleeker with the rest of my setup, and despite the worries (and I'm not the only one, it seems) YES it's in the UK QWERTY layout, not the DE one. It's just as lovely as the Vulcan 100 AIMO, with a few different buttons in the top right instead of a twisty knob, but less features when it comes to lighting, which is what caught me out. The keyboard can only be lit up blue, but using ROCCAT's Swarm software you can still mess with it a bit. Only downside in my picky mind is that it's a "full blue" like a bit of a tacky RGB blue, and not the lovely sky blue that the pictures seem to show off - oh well.I'll probably get another Vulcan 100 AIMO because I loved messing with the lighting profiles based on whether I was working or gaming, especially as they're now cheaper in some places, but this keyboard still looks good and most importantly is a joy to type on - it's so seamless and feels lightweight.

Nice bit of kit
The keyboard feels well built and has a good weight to it and the finish gives a premium look overall. The unit is as compact as it can be with no wasted space and there is a nice volume control section that mutes the sound and changes volume. The LED FX can also be modified however I am using SignalRGB to control the colour scheme which works well. The key presses feel satisfying and responsive with a nice mechanical sound.Very nice keyboard overall.

Best keyboard 2019 (Edited review)
Lifelong gamer and enthusiast PC builder here.***Edited:Below is my review of the first Vulcan 100 i owned. I'm now at 3 and this one has gone the same way as the last 2.All three have suffered the same malfunctioning key fate. Sometimes keys don't register annd sometimes you get double presses. This turns a beautiful keyboard into an unusable frustrating mess. I'm so sad to be honest becasue i love the keyboard but i can't go for number 4 because it's just too much at this point. ***Finished editOver the last 4 years I've had a CM Storm Trigger, Corsair Strafe RGB and now this Roccat Vulcan 100.All have been good keyboards but the Roccat stands out way over the other 2.One of the biggest problems of most mechs is their uncanny abilty to hold dirt and all sort of other stuff in their keys and it's a pain to clean without removing the keys etc. Roccat does not suffer with this at all. I can keep it in the condition it was delivered in without much effort at all.The RGB lighting on both the others was 'ok' but again on the Roccat this is next level.Typing comfort and speed is the best I've experienced so far. Sound is also nice if a bit clacky. (I like it)Software is more than usable and not very complicated, also doesn't require an update every 2 days.....The biggest boon is that it looks amazing from all angles. Some may not like the lack of features (USB ports etc) but i find it has all i need. A big volume knob and there are macros there if you need them.My favourite keyboard by a country mile so far.

Awesome keyboard to use but...
I'll keep this brief. I love using this keyboard, whether that be for typing or for gaming. The build quality feels amazing, the RGB is great if you are into that kind thing, and the feel of the keys bring a warmth to the heart. Media controls could be a bit better as in having dedicated keys rather than shortcuts, but that's a minor issue for me.However, this is the second of these keyboards I have had in 4 years, and the same problem is starting to develop that I had on the first one I had. My 'w' key is starting to not register at times. I do a bit of gaming, though not majorly so, so I imagine it is my most used key. So it's fair to say there is something just not quite right with the build quality. With the last keyboard I tried dismantling and cleaning using a guide I found, but it made no difference so I won't be doing that this time. Sadly I imagine I'll need to get a new keyboard fairly soon, and I won't be getting this one again. Shame, as it's really awesome when it works.

quality keyboard
keys were just a bit too hard, tight for me comfort, even though i'm used to all sorts of cherry mechanical keys. but otherwise a quality keyboard if you don't mind the hard pressure required, i was amazed at the looks and build

It's a nice keyboard, but has a few significant flaws, and support isn't great
This is a very nice keyboard to use. However, the software it works with isn't great, and for some reason the keyboard keeps forgetting whatever lighting settings I have it working with and instead defaulting to wave. The main reason I have this rated low is this keyboard a real nightmare to clean. It is incredibly susceptible to liquid spills; the shallow caps may look nice but also mean any liquid has a high chance of just splashing up under the cap and inside the switch, and then you're really screwed; you can't get inside them. I just spent around an hour and a half painstakingly cleaning mine to, eventually, no avail, as the return key is dead. Nor do Roccat offer replacement switches or caps; lose one and you are, again, screwed. The keys are also made of worse plastic than they look; removing the M key with a key-puller shattered the mounting part. I had to resin it back together and it was still very loose.I loved using this keyboard. I hated having to do anything else related to it. It isn't hardy and isn't durable.
