Awesome shorts, TRUE TO SIZE. A few comments say to size up, I did this my first order and they did not fit properly. These shorts are short, if that isn't your thing...by other shorts. Sizing up doesn't fix that, they'll just be baggier and too big in the waist.

No.side.pockets.Okay, that's my bad, but if side pockets are important to you, this is your "heads up".They didn't claim there were side pockets, just that little teeny inside (key size) pocket.This review is for (their headline description):"G Gradual Running Shorts for Men 3 Inch Lighweight Quick Dry Workout Gym Athletic Jogging Shorts with Inner Key Pocket"I'm not fond of liners for shorts and almost didn't order these, but, well, they're purple and I figure if I really hate the liner, I can always get the scissors.The liner is a full front/back, like a pair of super light weight underwear.It is comfortable on me, but if I were running or doing impact exercise, it's kind of useless compared to a jockstrap or other "support" garment.The Purple is a little muted, maybe even more than what you see in the product photos.Let's get into these and me:I ordered the size Large for my 5'9" 158 +/- pound body.Here's the stats (measurements) of the pair I received:I measured this just laid flat, smoothed out, NOT stretched, front facing me:Waist, side to side is 16 1/2" (so double that).Waist BAND is 1 3/4" wide.Stretch of the elastic feels about right.Leg openings are 12 3/4" (so double that).The "height" of the legs, measured from the top of the waistband in the center of the leg, in front, to the bottom leg seam is 12 1/2" & 14 3/4" (front/back).These fit me: Loose, leisure, relaxed. Perfect for lounging around or select activities.Construction, stitching, fabric and overall quality: All look good to me.I've given a 4 star rating based on initial impressions and *perceived* quality, not on long term wear or use.Just wish it had side pockets.I hope this review has been helpful and enables you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

If it tells you anything I got my 1st pair and the order 3 more. Very comfy well made and price is unbeatable in my opinion. These are really nice shorts for the price

I love the fabric and fitted waistband, but I think for my stocky body type a 5” with the same fitted waist band (instead of 3”) would be Ideal. Sadly it does not come in 5”.
