Tethered float switch
Pump works great, but should of tested the tethered float switch in water first, only tested with volt meter dry and seemed to to work but once installed it failed to operate, Amazon gave me credit to buy a new one and hopefully many years of Service, this is a job that you really need everything to work 100%

Do not purchase anything by Vevor
I purchased a septic tank pump to replace the one that was over 17 years old (different brand). Vevors lasted 1 year and 10 months when it malfunctioned causing half my house to flood with sewage water. I had to have the tiles, carpet and partial walls removed in 6 rooms which then had to be dried out and disinfected. I contacted Vevor and for 2 months I only received scripted emails addressing me as "Dear Customer" and they were sorry for the "inconvenience" minimizing the situation I've been forced into that has made my home inhabitable and at a cost of $60,000+ to repair. They said they did not offer an extended warranty over one year. I had to prove them they did at which they back peddled from this claim. They wanted pictures and receipts of the damage which I provided. Then they wanted a picture of the septic tank pump which had long been replaced when this catastrophe occurred and by this time it was trashed. More delays occurred while various scripted emails were sent saying they had to contact "relevant technicians" and "careful analysis by our internal product technology experts". Then more scripted emails denying any responsibility only to say to contact my insurance company. The emails were explicit in the assumption they were conversing with an idiot in stating "our product has always undergone strict testing and quality control, and is compliant and has no quality problems" like any product is 100% free of defects. The general public knows this is not the case.

That it works for what I need it for
Was surprised on how heavy duty it is, have another sewage pump, doesn’t come close to the vevor brand, plus cheaper
