New LENOVO computer of reasonable technical properties that are currently available in more expensive computer models. I would recommend this purchase, however be aware that this model might be out and not any longer available on LENOVO store or web site. Big plus though is high speed and good processor at lower price.

It actually took me a bit of time to getting used to and finally liking the laptop!The main drawbacks here are the screen (limited viewing angles and at 1080p), having to mess with the power settings as the USB-C port had power issues out of the box, and using the lenovo vantage software in order to get the system fully and correctly updated.If you get this laptop, first and foremost download the lenovo vantage software and initiate updates through there. Then run Windows Update and you should be set. Power settings are a bit finicky so make sure that your desired settings are consistent between the windows and lenovo vantage softwareAside from that, there are many many positives for the price. This computer is very lightweight for the screen size and has more than enough CPU, memory, and HD space for work or study. I use this mainly for programming and the 40 GB of ram keeps things snappy despite having many browser windows open and a couple of IDEs running.

great amount of RAM great SS HARD DRIVe 1tiigprocessor is fast . Handles several tasks at the same time with no problem.

Update: 6 months later.This is a piece of frustrating useless metal. I'll never buy a Lenovo product again, the Memory is constantly challenged, even though is has so much extra. The wi-fi drops constantly, and it just struggles so much with relatively simple work.Overall, it has some quirks I've never run across in other laptops we've owned. It will drop the internet for a minute randomly, and the memory management seems quite Sub-par. I restart 2-3 times a day to clear the memory issues with graphs, and after a few YouTube videos everything locks up.This is my first Lenovo, I don't know if they used lower quality components or why this one struggles, the Intel Core and 40GB ram should let it run much better. I won't buy another from Lenovo.

Good performance in jobs related to Excel - VBA - etc., common web searches, and watching movies without issues.

This laptop is just what I needed. Bought it to take on vacation and to have for eventually doing some work from home. So far, seems to be just what I needed. Happy with my purchase!

Should have come with power connector, not one that uses up one of the USB ports!
