Solar Camera Outdoor Wireless, 2K Color Night Vision, Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor with 360°View, 4X Zoom, Battery Powered, 2.4GHz WiFi Solar Camera, PIR Alarm, IP65 Weatherproof

I purchased these cameras a couple days ago for $70/pair. I wasn't expecting much at that price, but so far these cameras are impressive. I have them set up about 100 feet from the nearest wifi satellite, in different directions. Here are the pros and cons I've experienced so far:PROS:* Setup was easy*Battery life and solar panel recharging seems to work very very well (I'm in the Pacific Northwest, not known for lots of sun, but the batteries are fully recharged by nightfall every day).* The wifi signal is strong for the distance I have them. I don't know know if they are using 2.4gHz or 5Ghz -- and I don't care much* The viewing app is generally intuitive and easy to useCONS:* I am used to 4K cameras, so these at 2K seem grainy/pixaly to me. However, still better than nothing and probably fine for most, especially those spending less than $100 for 2. It is easy enough to see people, birds, etc and make out most activity. however, i don't think I could make out license plates. This is true of both SD and HD settings.* The cameras default to standard definition (SD). There is not a way to set them to default to HD (High definition). If you want HD, you need to switch to it each time you open the app.* The app (IOS) frequently asks for added permissions -- access to Bluetooth, access to my network, access to my camera, microphone. cell service, etc. However, I said No to everything but Wifi access and the cameras seem to work just fine. Each time I open the app though, it asks again. I just decline and continue to use the app.* The cameras DO send their data/pictures to some Internet server somewhere. How do I know? I have the cameras set up on a special wifi network with nothing else on it --- think of it as a special guest network where the cameras are the guests. However, with the app on a device using a DIFFERENT wifi network, I can use the app just fine. So, the cameras must be saving the video somewhere where it can be retrieved via a different Internet connection. I did NOT sign up for the paid subscription, and turned off all Cloud features on the camera settings. Not sure how this is working, but for free it is fine for me.Overall, for the price I think these are nice little cameras. My star ranking takes the price into account.

I bought this camera during a limited time deal to be able to check in on my chickens and I believe it is worth the money. It has many features such as pan capabilities, zoom in and out, microphone, motion detection, spotlight, night vision, etc. Connecting to WiFi was a breeze and took just a few minutes with no problems. The quality of the image is very good and clear. There is an option to insert an SD card for recording and holding images or you can buy cloud space. I haven’t purchased so I don’t know what that cost is. Downloading the app on my iPhone was easy as well as adding the device. For about $40 I definitely think this camera is worth it for all the features you get.

Sorry it’s taken so long for my review, but here it is.The security cameras I ordered work great!!! I love that I can rotate them, the options of talking through microphone, the pics come CLEAR AS IF I WAS LOOKING OUT A WINDOW!!! The night vision is just as GOOD AS DAY VERSION!!! I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE ALARM SOUND IT MAKES WHEN SOMEONE GETS WITHIN THE PERIMETER!!! They were easy to install , connected right to Wi-Fi, mounting was a little problem cuz I needed to get Wi-Fi extender cord to use for solar panel. Easy setup and solid wall mount installation. The camera is doing its job and alerting me to all known instances of people approaching my front door. I use a microSD card to capture instances of people walking by the door, and these videos are very easy to access.I also like the solar power aspect - my camera and its solar panel are under an overhang and are easily held at 100% battery with the ambient light - no direct sunlight required in my case. The usability is good and the camera is reliable in showing current video feed and captures stored on the SD card.After three weeks, all good and working well. Recommended!
