This machine is small but powerful. It cleaned my jewelry and glasses well and had them shinning like new. Depending on how dirty your items are, you may have to repeat the cycle a few times but other than that it's great. I didn't have jewelry cleaning solution but used water with a drop of Palmolive dish soap and cleaned several pieces of jewelry including pieces from brands such as Fossil, Pandora, Swarovski, and even some diamond earrings and rings. The machine is pretty quiet when cleaning. You may hear a low hmming or the jewelry rattling on the bottom of the basket but it's really low and shouldn't interrupt your activities. I've used it several times with no leaks or any problems with functionality. There are no weird smells, it seems durable, and very effective. The appearance is simple and sleek. As for size, I can fit one pair of basic adult glasses in at time. If you have big bulky glasses with large lens you'll need to flip them over and start a new cycle.

I got this specifically to clean my glasses. I wasn't sure it would work, but it was inexpensive enough to try. It both does and doesn't work for this use. It is fantastic at cleaning the crevices between the lens and the frame and on the nose guard. That's a huge help, because I always felt like I was putting as much oil onto my lens from the frame as I was taking off cleaning them traditionally. But it doesn't clean the glass. I still clean them with a cleaning cloth.
