Insufficient User Information
This printer is attractively styled and was a good buy, when priced at £185 at the time I bought mine, towards the end of 2018.There are several shortcomings that need to be considered by anyone looking to try out this technology, from a point of little prior knowledge. Support is via an on-line forum and it took me some time to identify and download the current version of the Easy Print 3D software. There was a sample object on the mini-SD card supplied with the printer but no information about what it was. The file-name was 'biltonga8.gcode' and I have discovered that biltonga is Chinese for a pen-holder. It was a largish object that would have taken very many hours to print, although I never completed it because it detached itself from the printer bed within the first hour of printing.I did a lot of reading on the web, to learn more about the software used by this printer and, as a result, downloaded the (free) 'Cura' software. I also found information on how to adapt this software to the E180, from the web. I am now able to print some simple models but the print head failed after only a few hours of use. A spare is provided with the printer but I have only found a supplier in China, from which to buy further replacements. I emailed the company about the early failure but have received no response. The good features, which make it 'child-friendly', include the unheated bed and the almost total enclosure of high-temperature parts - known as the 'hot end'. The PLA filament apparently does not emit toxic fumes while printing.I think the machine may be capable of good results but you will find yourself largely 'on your own', when it comes to learning about setting up the software and producing useful results.

AVOID - Power supply burnt. Do not recommend.
I got this printer and gave it a few go's at printing. Quality is not that good but it's understandable as it's meant for beginners. It depends on their own slicer which sucks so I don't think it excels as a simple beginner entrypoint, but it wouldn't be fair to say print quality is awful in any case. After only a couple weeks, the mains at my place would go off if I plugged this printer and some smoke started coming out from the PSU. I contacted Geetech and they told me they wouldn't replace the psu. When I mentioned the two year warranty in Europe they had to comply with, they told me they would send me one but I had to pay for the "shipping" which surprisingly cost similar to a new PSU. AWFUL experience, plus dangerous as it may set itself on fire.
