I have been on a good Pen hunt for months (I take a lot of notes), tried a dozen different brands/styles - these pens really do feel nice when writing, and they so far (after many weeks) have never stopped flowing ink (many I tried just skip areas on cheap paper).They are not overly expensive, but feel really well made in the hand - have become the only pens I use now.

Feels great in the hand! I thought the metal grip would be uncomfortable, but it's not. Feels like a pen I want to keep forever. The marking is not as bold as a pilot g2, but very consistent and writes very nicely

I bought these all metal Zebra pens to use as my EDC choice and replaced the fills with the Fisher Space Pen refills. It's a great way to get a full-size Space Pen without the cost of buying one from Fisher.The Hack:1.) Take out the fill that come with the 7012.) From the outside tip of the barrel, use a small paperclip or pin to push out the tiny plastic sleeve in the tip of the pen barrel3.) Replace it with the Space Pen refill. So simple even a politician could do it! Well, after they formed a committee and approved a grossly large budget to review it.I EDC this pen with my Field Books notebooks in a nice leather cover I got here on Amazon and it works perfect. I also keep one in my briefcase that has the original fill and I have the ones I replaced as refills for my "office" pen.

The way it feels

I'm a machinist. I work in oily environments and occasionally sit something heavy on my pen (didn't see it on my table) and I pretty much destroy normal pens in about a week.I bought the 3-pack, assuming I'd break these too.Nope!Solid!I take one of these with me practically everywhere now.I love it!When the ink finally runs out, I'm going to see if the Fisher Space Pen refill will work in it.
