Worked just fine. Easy install. Gave life to a good speaker hopefully for another 10 years.

To be fair, the battery has been in my mini Soundlink for only a week, but wow. I never thought I’d hear it play again. I could go on and on about the memories this speaker has provided for college parties, days at the beach, camping, being my car radio for a while, kayaking, sad boy hours, ext. It’s rough around the edges, but for over 12 years it has brought constant joy to my life, and became an icon amongst friends and family. Over the years its battery started to wither, and it finally died after taking a plunge in the Shenandoah River. I thought that was it for my speaker. It played for a few hours after that, and boom. Dead. I held onto it thinking I’d hold a funeral service, or dissect it to see its inner workings. After 8ish months of sitting in my closet, I figured I’d try replacing the battery as that had been an issue for a while. To my surprise it turned right back on like nothing had ever happened. I got to hear its sweet sound once again. I teared up a bit that night. It’s now my office speaker, and I hope to get many more years of service. It’ll never be the party starter it once was as I’ve since upgraded, but I’m so happy it gets a second chance at life.By the way, super easy to install. Took like 10 minutes, charges as it should, and so far seems to hold that charge.

Battery was DOA. I charged it for 14 hours and it still was showing not charged. I tried to power the speaker on and the battery light started flashing red. The speaker would not power up.Returning item

Probably the best purchase I have made at Amazon in many years!!! My Bose SoundLink 1 bluetooth speaker is now ten years old and the battery will no longer hold a charge for more than 30". After some research I found Amazon carries 20+ replacements although nearly ALL carried the warning "FREQUENT RETURNS ON THIS ITEM". The battery I finally purchased had no such warning although many purchases. I took a chance and was very surprised/extremely happy when the battery arrived, was charged and now the Bose works just as it did ten years ago although holds a charge far longer than the original battery. THANK YOU AMAZON !!!!!!

Easy to install. Hold its charge in my my Bluetooth speaker.
