Dartington Crystal Wine & Bar Beer Glasses Pair

For the price I expected better.The glass is a good design but production quality is poor. There is a distinct line that runs across the top of the base of the glass, presumably from its mould. I purchased 2 glasses and the defect is apparent in both of them, so unfortunately it is not a one off. A quality crystal glass does not have this defect.Once you remove the Dartington label you could be looking at a 50p glass not one that cost £9.I have purchased Dartington before and there were issues with those glasses as well. I assumed it was a one off but that clearly isn't the case. I shall buy from a quality crystal maker in future.

Superb glasses for the beer drinker, but they are very delicate and easily broken. However, for the price, it's not really an issue for me. I just replace them when they break, which isn't that often.

These are simply lovely beer glasses. This is my second purchase. The shape and clarity of the glass are perfect. The only way to enjoy a chilled premium beer - or not premium for that matter. :)
