I agree with most Silver River should have been in this set. That film is so much better then 1 if not 2 of the movies in this set. However it’s Errol Flynn, you can’t go wrong.

I have not watched these movies at a this time. I was very impressed and grateful for. Thankyou very much. how well this set of DVDs were wrapped. Thank-. you very much. DJB

The condition of the package when it came was questionable. Most of the cases the movies came in were broken and in pieces. While it was shrink wrapped in plastic the sides of the individual DVDs were cut and plastic shredded at the bottom of the The DVDs. I taped them back together. The other 3 DVDs ended up being perfect with the exception of the San Antonio movie which could not be viewed as the streaming in the middle of the movie stopped could not be viewed to the end. I'm not sending these back because of the other 3 movies. It is difficult to get Errol Fynn movies and I will keep what I have. If I could get a better version of the San Antonio movie I would be most grateful. I am a big fan of Errol Flynn since I first saw Robin Hood as a very small child and have read his autobiography. Flynn was an exceptional Golden Age of Hollywood star who was very underrated. If you watch the progression of his movies and acting they were solid performances. Unfortunately, his personal life got in the way of his career.

His westerns movies keeps you on the edge of your seat, awaiting the hero to take over and prevail against the bad guys. The hero(Flynn) also gets the leading lady, in all of his flims. Great A movies to watch and enjoy hours of adventure and excitement. Errol Flynn collection of westerns movies, are my favorites. For all you classic western movie watchers, these are must movies to have.

Obviously, I like Errol Flynn so I was thrilled when this box set was offered. As with many of the Warner Brothers disc sets, there's the Warner Night at the Movies extra features which includes cartoons, short subjects and newsreels of the year the featured film was released. Perhaps not a group of his best films (as others have mentioned) but enjoyable none the less. Virginia City is my favorite out of the 4 of them, mainly due to Humphrey Bogart and the other top notch stars. Yes, I have the same last name as Rocky Mountain co-star (and Flynn widow) Patrice Wymore, however, I'm not directly related (though my former inlaws are distantly related to her). I think the set is well worth the price (or even better on sale).

I've been waiting for many years for the release of Rocky Mountain and that alone was worth the purchase price of the whole set to me. When I first started looking for this movie I was still firmly entrenched in the Beta format, so that gives you some idea. Naturally all the films in this collection are a must for the Flynn collector as well as fans of the western genre. These films are not the typical Saturday matinee western, but rely on intelligent script and plot and excellent acting as well as lively action. I won't go with the old "Flynn at his best" cliche, because Flynn was always at his best. This collection should be an important addition to your film library.

It makes much more sense (cents too, lol!) to buy these old classics than to pay the darn extra fees they add to non-Prime streaming videos.I love Errol Flynn and will add all they have to my library. IMO the old classic Westerns are 1000 times better than anything they are releasing today. The newer movies, with all of their designer clothes, etc., are just not realistic... and that's not to say realism is all that important. No doubt some might think Errol Flynn movies to be a tad corny. Ah, but it's the romance of the era too that adds so much to their appeal.

Finally one more box of Errol Flynn's western movies, but were are Silver River 1948 a very good western missing, i hope they release it soon maybe in a New Western box by Warner Bros they have so many good western still to put out on dvd/blu-ray.What about a Robert Taylor Boxset please Warner Bros or release a second volume of "Warner Home Video Western Classic Collection" RT has three big westerns in that box (Many Rivers to Cross/The Law and Jake Wade/Saddle the Wind). but he still has some great western not released yet"Billy the Kid 1941"/"Ambush 1949"/"Devil's Doorway 1950"/"Westward the Women 1951"/"Ride, Vaquero! 1953"/"The Last Hunt 1953" and "The Hangman 1959". Look for Robert Taylor in Warner Home Video Western Classic Collection (see review soon)This four Flynn western is very good in glorius b&w and fine color picture quality Warner Bros have done an exellent job and taken the finest print's there is, and put it on dvd and one more thing, "reel dvd cases" not to forget the slim ones i don't like at all sorry to say.Virginia City 1940 122 min B&W/San Antonio 1945 109 min Color/Montana 1950 76 min Color/Rocky Mountain 1950 86 min B&W some extra material on each dvdI should given this 5 stars but when they missed to add "Silver River 1948" i give it only 4 stars Why did you miss it Warner?Enjoy this 4 great Errol Flynn's western now!

Western DVD arrived on time and was as expected. Enjoyed the movie starring Errol Flynn.
