This review is for the LEATHER VILLAGE Leather Pencil Pouch Pen Case - Brown - Elegant and Practical Zipper Pouch Holder for Artists, Men, and Women - Unique 8" x 4" Design with Side Pocket.So this is a wonderful real geuine leather pouch done in the distressed brown finish I love! This leather is the type it will easily mark up with use, think Indiana jones vibes here, each one will be unique and over time will take on a beautiful patina subject to your care/use. It's comes in some other lovely colors if you want, this was what was on offer to me.Size is perfect, style is relaxed/shabby chic, shape rectangular, good construction with good stitching throughout, zippers work smoothly, nice it has 2 compartments... many uses for this handy little real genuine leather quality made case...use it pens/pencils, crochet hooks, makeup/beauty items like tweezers or nail stuff/ items organizer pouch in a purse/backpack/satchel/ messenger/sling... bags.... I love simple versatile quality items that enhance my life! It would be nice if this had a good leather loop with a ring on it so it could be attached with a carabiners, spring clip... to a backpack...I would note that upon opening this it had a bit of a musty smell to it, perhaps due to long storage/closed up inside a plastic bag inside the dust bag inside yet another plastic bag without one of tyhe drying little chemical pouch things. I left it sit out and it quickly dissipated.I will say this, I'm a leather connoisseur...some may say even a leather snobb LOL. I love real leather and generally hate faux/fake/PU/imitation...whatever you want to call it materials masquerading as "leather". Given the amount of cattle breeds alone butchered worldwide we should have an abundance of real leather products, and don't give me that garbage about it polluting the environment....there are many good ways to process/tan real high quality leather that are natural/environmentally friendly. We influence this with the choices we make in the products we spend our $ for! So make your voice heard folks! Fake leather is generally a petroleum by product, so do we want to open that can of worms and how that iimpacts the environment? LOL. I'll leave that one alone for now. LOL.Regular price $14.99 per the listing may be a tad high, but I'm good with it as this should last for decades properly cared for. This would make a nice gift for the right person, maybe for a child to give grandma that won't break the bank....As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

Great price and it's really leather is very stiff but will stretch out can be used for way more than pens, like wallet , masks, chapstick, kleenex holder, ive done it all and it's beautiful

Nice material and workmanship but much narrower than I’d hoped. No give in the stiff leather. Will hold a few pencils, gel pens or a single checkbook but nothing bulky.

I got this to hold my mini coloring pad and some short coloring pencils. For that purpose, this pouch works well. It is just the right size. Both zippers work well and slide with ease.I don't like how stiff this leather is. I was hoping for a squishier leather like some of my other products. The pattern on the outside is okay but nothing I get excited about. I really dislike that the inside of both pockets is lined. I really would prefer an unlined pocket.A carrying strap would be a great addition for a design improvement.

My young budding artists, for this from for Christmas and they loved them. Made the Aunt with bestest again.
