Q: Is it possible to disable the auto exposure and auto focusing on this camera?

I own a Mac, and camera on the Mac it is Plug N Play. The only thing you can adjust is the microphone level which is good since that can eliminate feedback. Out of many web cams this was one of the only that is compatible with a Mac. The auto focus has never been an issue on web cam chats. The only problem I have had is when no one is talking the camera searches for a sound, and sometimes generates feedback, but that is rare.

I do not know...I have never tried using it that way. Could you explain more about what you want to do and I could try to duplicate the process on my system for you?

I have two Mini Mac's. One that is about 2 years old, and one that is 7 years old with the Lion OS on it. The video camera works on both Mini Mac's, and it does not prompt for drivers. It works on every app on the Mini Mac, that is Quick Time, Skype, etc.

I've used it on a Mac Mini and on a Mac Pro. OS X sees it right away. My guess is yes.
