This fire ring arrived in 4 segments in a box (each quarter round is a different panel) and just needed assembly with the 8 (included) screws. The ring weighs about 30 pounds total, which isn't too heavy for the average person to move around even when fully assembled.We've just run it as a standalone ring for the moment (on it's own, it is not "smokeless"), but will be building and installing this as a smokeless core this coming summer.Looks like a fine product, heavy-duty, will likely work great, zero issues here.

When assembling, do not fully tighten all of the screws until all 8 are in place. Doing so beforehand will make the final screws difficult to properly fit.You'll also need to build a large fire for this to produce less smoke. Start the fire before guests arrive. When the fire dies down smoke will increase.

Easy assembly and is well built.

This ring was really easy to put together. It looks great and is the perfect size for my fire pit ring of 12 stones (beltis wall block). It’s doing well after being rained on several times. Worth the money!
