Woodpeckers love PineTree Farms
Love PineTree Farms diet log jammers! More importantly, my 3 varieties of woodpeckers love these. I keep lots on hand so I don’t run out during the New England winters.

I use a lot of this
The birds eat two sticks every day and would eat more if I gave it too them. I have several woodpeckers show up every day that are worth the fare.

A bit misleading.
I was under the impression that there were 36 units of suet which I felt was a good price since similar suets in.a store are over a dollar apiece. So getting 36 for $35- seemed like a good deal. Since the photo in the Amazon ad shows only the front of the packaged suet the 3 pieces in 1 does add up to “36” but it is NOT what I expected. Lesson learned at an old age-again. Looks are deceiving. You know the old adage “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me”.

SO MANY WOODPECKERS!
I have SO many woodpeckers coming and going with this suet. I'm getting the pileated, downy, hairy, and red-bellied! They love it! I also have chickadees, finches, and sparrows eating it out of the suet log. I'm using the Stovall 13F cedar post log feeder. I melt the suet down just a bit and smear it into the holes.

Quick and easy to use
We are fortunate that we have three varieties of Woodpeckers that visit our feeding station. They all very much prefer to feed from the suet plugs rather than the typical small block suet. This is our first order of the Hi Energy type, but the Woodpeckers seem to like it as much as the other types we have tried - even in the height of insect season
