So I bought this in the hopes of saving some £££’s during this cost of living crisis. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews here. Firstly this film IS definitely scented & you get an added air freshener thingy (bonus!). Next I’m using this with the Tommee Tippee Twist & Click system (not sure if this has any bearing on my experience but so as you know, that’s what I’m using). I had saved a few of the empty cassettes (we have two nappy bins & I have 7 cassettes). This should mean that I don’t ever suddenly run out & there’s a mad “omg I haven’t got any filled cassettes” moments. So I have to say this was surprisingly quick & EASY to fill the old cassette with! I took the ring off with the plastic tab bits that hold the film in place (it just unclips), I then put the cardboard tube over the inner ring of plastic unrolled a reasonable length of plastic film from the roll & pulled it down the cardboard tube, not dissimilar to gathering a sock or stocking or support bandage onto a tube, when I had got enough on there that it looked full, I pushed it down & shoved a bit more on…I definitely have over 3m on it - it didn’t take me more than 5-10 mins either. I then compressed the plastic film down round the cardboard tube & carefully pulled the tube out, keeping the plastic compressed down. I then carefully to avoid catching the film, pressed the plastic ring with the tabs on back into place & pulled a small amount of the film through to check it works & doesn’t snag, pulled the film through the centre of the cassette & tied a knot in it as you would with the manufacturer’s original film. Quite frankly even if this isn’t holding as much film as the original cassette (which I doubt & could well be holding more) it just means changing the cassette slightly more frequently but as long as I have at least 2 cassettes filled per bin, I’m golden! I actually am quite excited to start using it in our nappy bins when the current ones run out. Certainly for now this film is 5* & no issues with it whatsoever! Honestly Tommee Tippee’s original film never stopped the smells completely but I do find spraying the nappy bins at each emptying with Dettol antibacterial spray does wonders for this. Just spray inside the bin & around the inside of the lid & put back together! Smell issues sorted until it next needs emptying (which with 2 under 2 both in nappies) usually every 2-3 days & using 1/2 a cassette of film per time. Certainly bar anything unexpected, this is great value for money & every little helps currently! Amazingly easy to refill these cassettes though - cannot for the life of me see why others are having such issues.

Don't do what I did and add too much on your first go - maximum 2m I'd say ..

I have bought a similar product in the past but this is definitely better. I find it easy to refill the cassette and it is certainly much more economical than the original. It doesn’t completely deal with the smell and the film itself has little or no scent but it does the job well enough for me.
