I've tried solar lights before and was disappointed in the light output. This lights up the front of my pole barn ok in the dim mode and does very good at full brightness. It's not as much light as the old 275 watt light, but it's pretty close.I'm happy with the light so far

I am not paid for these reviews.This Jaynlt brand solar powered LED street light is better made than some others like this. It is made of a nice anodized aluminum alloy where others are plastic. The non-yellowing polycarbonate LED diffuser lens cover is well-sealed to the main body, rendering this light almost impervious to the effects of weather and temperature extremes. The design of the light head spreads the light across a much wider area, too.This light fixture is intended to be mounted on a tall pole or post - at least ten feet high or higher. It can also be mounted on the side of a building. It is important to be sure that the solar panel, on the back side of the light head, receives unshaded direct sunlight most of the day to assure that the 12,500 mAh battery gets fully charged.This security light comes with a remote control, making it possible to adjust the light and set the various options without having to drag out a tall ladder and climb back up after installing the light. This remote gives you several nice options: 1) you can set the timer to operate the lamp for three hours, five hours or eight hours per night. 2) You can dim or brighten the light to suit your needs and location, possibly conserving battery charge power and 3) you can choose between three operating modes.The three operating modes include: A) always on, as long as the charge in the battery holds out. Using the remote you can control how brightly the light shines on this setting. B) On at dusk, Off at dawn - automatically controlled by the light sensor, and C) Motion sensing mode. The light burns at approximately 20% of maximum brightness all night long, until nearby motion is detected. The light then quickly switches to full power brightness, and remains at 100% of maximum brightness until the motion is no longer detected. Then it automatically switches back to 20% brightness. I think this third option allows you to conserve your battery charge better, so you might get some light overnight even after several cloudy, rainy days with little sunlight.The light head itself measures about nineteen inches long, and about eight and a half inches wide. This light comes with all the mounting hardware you are likely to need, including a sixteen inch long mounting arm for pole or building mount.This is a nice medium sized street light, useful for your back yard or parking area, and it comes with some very nice features. I recommend it!

I like the products, bright juste enough for my parking , only thing i dont like is the remote range is short . I cant control it from my hous witch is 150’ away i got to get close as 30-40’ maybe.Wonder if i could do something to increase the range ??

This is one powerful light! I added this to shed deep in the woods on my property and it is exceptionally bright. I love that I can now walk back there after dark with my dog and not have to use a flashlight. It has saved me so much anxiety!It does get direct sunlight for most of the day so the solar power charges well and it has never faltered, even when we have a few days of cloudy/rainy weather with no sunshine. I love how sensitive the motion detection is, although it does startle the deer that navigate that area of the woods sometimes.I would definitely recommend this light!

I received my unit and it was damaged . I reached out to the company and was pleased with the amazingly fast responses . I was asked to send pictures . Once I did and the damage was verified a new one was sent out to me immediately. I been on Amazon for as long as I can remember and this company by far is the best so far as it comes to Costomer service . I have no doubts that the product will be great as well once I receive it . I will post another review once received and installed
