HECASA Active Grille Shutter Compatible with 2015 2016 2017 Ford F-150 Radiator Shutter Core Support Grille Air Intake Shutter Control Assembly Replacement for FL3Z8475F

Mine didn’t come with instructions, so here’s what I did…Remove outer grill and reuse. Same with shutter motor. The motor was easy to remove. Pay attention to shutter angles while in old assembly. The angles need to match once motor installed in new one. Also make sure to note where tips of the tops and bottoms of shutter blades sit (Whether on top or below the neighbor shutter). I unclipped top three rows to allow the drive shutters to bow enough to disconnect from motor. Remove screw from motor and then slide the clip on the reverse side of motor (towards passenger side) to release it. Before reinstalling outer grill, hookup motor connector, place on truck and engage start button/key to ensure proper operation FIRST! If good then assemble grill. Don’t forget ambient temp sensor. My Lariat does not have front park sensors option. Collision required this part. Fairly straight forward. They do work well, no slap that my factory shutters had when start button engages.
