Great roller. Stiff, but not unbearable.
Love this little roller. It's perfect for travel as it's small. But I mostly use it at home and it's just fine. It's stiff, but i just used it on the bed until I got use to it. GREAT for stiff back release.

I think it will work well when traveling
I bought this for travel as I don't want to be without a foam roller. It is a lot smaller around and definitely shorter than the one I use at home, but I think it will be fine for a week away from home. It seems to be as firm as the one I am using and it is very reasonably priced.

Great size
I didn't realize this was travel size and almost returned it, but it's really a great size. I've taken it on a few trips now and it's great. Incredibly lightweight so it won't overweigh your bags.

If the one I received is soft, I would really hate the firm version.
