Making it look its best is important to try to get the best price.I needed something that was a reasonable size to photograph comic graphic novels as well as other assorted stuff. When I used to shoot on my kitchen table, the overhead light would reflect off of shiny or laminated objects, creating glare or "hot spots."BOX CONSTRUCTION AND PERFORMANCE: I did a lot of research before I settled on this particular light table box: there are a huge number of them available. The LED lights are positioned in two rows along the top of the unit to provide even lighting. They can be adjusted 3 ways in terms of selecting the kind of light and light intensity can be raised or lowered. The inserts offer full coverage of different background colors and fit in tabs on the back wall and the front of the base.By taking the photography at a 90 degree angle from the lighting, it provides photography without the hotspots and glare that comes from alternate arrangements. That said, there is a velcro cap on the top that can be removed for taking photographs from the top of the unit if you feel that gives a better end result.The unit collapses to near flat, which is great for storage when not in use. It features a long custom cord and plugs into a standard USB outlet.THE CHALLENGES: The sides snap together but are thin and buckle a bit. Which wouldn't be a big deal but it can expose the crevices in the box build to the photography. Use care and zoom in as much as possible when doing the photography to avoid capturing the flaws.That aside, it was a reasonable cost and very versatile. I am very happy with my purchase.

For the price, this is a nice product. I really love that it can be folded up and even has a handle, and I like durability of the plastic. With that being said, I have two complaints. Not very big complaints, but enough to annoy me to wish I had paid a little more attention to previous reviews.1) & this is mentioned quite often! The backdrops won’t stay in place, they slip a couple inches, which leaves a shadow or bump in the background. There are tabs to hold them up but it’s just a cutout tab and gravity just naturally takes place. This is super annoying to have to tape this every time, so I will probably do a velcro type thing but the point is, I shouldn’t have to.BUT I do love that it came with like 4 different colors and all 4 are very good colors that I think most people would actually use.2) This might just be me, as in maybe I should have just looked for a bigger size. But the lower corners of the box are super noticeable in pictures. So I have to crop a lot, which a lot of times I don’t have much room to crop. I take pictures of picture frames that I make, and I made sure to get a light box big enough, which this one is. It just will have dark corners instead of white corners, if they had just made the corners snap together. WahhhhhOther than that, it really is easy to use. The lights are decently bright. A pretty good size for lots of different items.

The media could not be loaded. This light box took my photos to the next level! I was tired of my photos looking so dark, so I decided to get this and it was well worth it. I was skeptical at first, but boy was I wrong. It was very easy to set up. I didn't even need to read the instructions. It's extra sturdy because it has buttons on the side that keeps it in black. I also loved the backgrounds it came with. In my video, I used the blue backdrop and it really made the photo pop. I will be using this for all my future photos.

The instructions were pretty useless, but I didn't even need them because it's so easy to figure out. You just open it up and fasten the snaps on each side. It stands up on its own, and it comes with 4 colored background sheets (white, black, light blue, and gray). It is true to size and my projects fit inside with ease. The hole on the top makes it super easy to take photos from overhead. I read some reviews about the lights not working so I did purchase additional LED lights just in case. However, my lights are working just fine. The remote switch is easy to use, switching the light from bright white, to medium white, to a more warm shade. You can also dim the light as you see fit. My tripod works fine also, not sure why others were broken. Lastly, it's very lightweight and easy to maneuver, making portability painless. I would definitely purchase this light box again, it's a great bargain.

this is ok for smaller items jewley hats maybe shoes but you cab get ones that are tye same size for like 20 dollers. the lighting was better as it had w types of light a yellow light and a white light you cab swap between them have one krnthe other on or both at the same time you could turn it up and down I did like the little control you use it worked well and it had a blue led so you can find it in the dark when plugged in. my biggest gripe at why it wasn't rated higher is I only had it for about 3 hours before one of the plastic clips that hold it together and keep it closed broke. I tried to glue it but it didn't work. this will work for ebay sellers who need to take better pictures as I did like the pictures I took using it. I do wish it was bigger like I said earlier you can get ones the same size with lighting for half the price so inthoufht this one should have been bigger I am upgrading to the 110 velcro box with far superior lighting and it is huge.
