Q: Dumb question I realize but is this a tin can and what is the aprox measurement? I need them for a project

Yes, I think it's tin, though it could easily be aluminum. If I remember correctly, it's 5-6 inches long and 3 inches wide 3/4 inch deep. These cans are sorta flimsy, and they will definitely need a serious washing, but the fish is delicious, and it's a good price too, so for a project, I think it'll be okay.
