The Providence Collection 4-DVD Set

The only thing I dislike about Providence is that this is not an actual series box set but a selection of episodes from each series. Apart from occassionally being a little overly sweet this is a real gem of a series the two standouts for me being Sydney and her (deceased)Mother who's relationship veers from stressful to laugh out loud funny to genuinely touching in only a way mothers and daughters can. So come on Lionsgate and do the job properly if ever a show deserved a full dvd collection this is it.

Great show wish they would release full series

Please be aware that this DVD is just 12 of the 'best' episodes, not the whole thing - which is OK if you watched the original TV show and are familiar with the characters and stories, but think twice if you haven't.Having now looked it up on Wikipedia, sadly after purchasing it and not before!, I've learned that this is the only DVD that has ever been released of this show, but there were in fact 96 episodes over 5 seasons.

I would have loved to have owned the whole 5 seasons, but this is pretty good. Some of my favorite episodes are missing, but overall it's a good walk down Nostolgia Lane.

Just a heads up this is not the full series!!!! This dvd collection is only 12 episodes of a 90 odd episode series made out to look like a complete series. An utter scam I am very annoyed!!! Started watching it only to find around 80 episodes are missing, bloody Americans!!!!!!!!!!!! Dvd collection suggests full series what liars, don't buy this product.

I have a new blu-Ray DVD player but I am unable to play the DVDs keeps telling me to check regional codes, I have checked these but am still unable to play

I've only recently discovered 'Providence' and became a fan from the very first episode and looked to buy the complete series - fortunately I read 'Wikipedia' and was furious/mystified/saddened when I learned of the DVD issue. How this can be sold as a 'Collection' when it is actually a 'SELECTION' (of assorted episodes) is really stretching the limits of the saying 'Being economical with the truth' !.

Liked the price the great care in shipping and plays very well a terrific purchase.

A nice show to watch with the whole family. It was nice to see something that brings you back to the importance of being with family and better yet no violence.

A TV series that we love to watch over and over again. Especially for animal lovers. Great movie. Good delivery.
