Great for first layer when camping in cold weather
These wool socks do a great job as the first layer for camping or hiking in cold weather. They wick moisture and are thin and comfortable to wear as a base layer. The next layer of heavier wool socks slides easily over these. At the end of the day my feet are warm and dry. The socks launder easily, I wash them on a gentle cycle and dry them on low heat… just in case. These have been an excellent purchase and have worked well for my application. Highly recommend.

So Good I just Bought More! Switched From Gold Toe to These
I got 6 pairs of these for Christmas as a gift. Loved them so much I just more for myself! Soft, stay up without cutting off circulation, and super warm!!! These are amazing Socks and a great value for the money. I used to buy Gold Toe but if they have similar socks in dress black and blue etc, I'm switching over!!

Very nice, warm, comfortable wool socks
These are very nice, comfortable, warm wool socks. My husband and I just got back from Italy and it got down into the 30s there. These socks really kept our feet warm. When you put them on, they look like they’ll be thinner, but they are a perfect thickness. Not too thin and not too thick. They are also extremely versatile. Depending on where we traveled in Italy, it would be down into the 30s but also got into the 70s and we could still wear these socks in both types of weather and be comfortable. I bought a package in men’s for him and a package in women’s for me. We both highly recommend these socks!

Don’t sleep on these sheep.
These seem like terrific socks—4 star so far with high hopes. They look high quality, feel nice to the touch, and are comfortable. I have the navy and the medium grey. I’ll likely get the light grey soon. I have been rotating two pairs of socks for the last week or so in casual leather boots and on hikes with trail runners (and Microspikes, in the December Boulder Flatirons). These socks are nice and thin, almost like a softer Smartwool PHD Ultralight. I love me some PHD Ultralights! and am only saying that, to me, these are—wonderfully—not thickly padded or bulky in the toes, like so many hiking socks. I am not expecting them to be Smartwool bombproof. (Although they do use similar wool and poly content.)The sizing and stretchability of these socks works for me. In Saucony and Adidas trail runners I am 10.5 and wear xl SW socks—I have sensitive big toes and like some extra toe room. These dress socks fit 8/10 for my carnsarned persnickity gollamajiggy left big toe (like my PHDs fit me) and 9/10 overall. So a normal human will love them! The band that holds them on the calf is a bit too snug, but I roll them over once and down two inches, and they fit like short crew socks, which I really like, and they stay like that all day. They look like the wool mountain biking socks I like to wear. In fact the medium grey is black inside, so when you roll them down there is a banded effect, and they look like intentionally striped socks. (I hope the light grey have the same effect.) They do not slide down over the course of a hike. They are a little slippery against the sock liners in the trail runners I have worn, but I have had no issues at all while hiking. (I even carried a backup pair of PHDs on both hikes and never thought about switching out!) One icy hike was in waterproof Adidas and Microspikes, and my socks were barely damp afterward—very good for me for hiking socks. If half of these socks last a year in my sock rotation, and I believe they will, I will be very happy. I have not washed them yet—gross but awesomely not gross—and plan to alternately machine and hand wash and always air dry, like all my lovely SW and Icebreaker stuff. If they fall apart and break my heart, I will be back. To spill the details. And seek revenge. Don’t sleep on these sheep.Edit: I have put a couple months of daily wear and many trail miles into these wool blend socks, and I am still very happy with them. I did chew up the heel of one sock on a hike recently, due to a little bit of poor shoe fitting exacerbated by the weight of Microspikes. The heel pilled pretty badly, but there are no holes. One sock out of 12, pretty good ratio. Some pilling in friction areas of many socks, but well within reason.

LIght, warm, thin , comfortable
I wanted thin Merino wool socks and these fit the bill. Also, they are wide enough for my thick ankles.

Very comfortable socks for boots
I recently got into Red Wing boots (moc-toes and Iron Rangers). Merino wool socks along with the thick leather insoles in the RW boots keep your feet really dry. Much more so than all synthetic shoes/boots. These socks are thin which is a plus for snug fitting boots. They shed and pill quite a bit. After washing, I hang them up to dry. Great product.

Shedding after wash
Been wearing for a week. Soft and comfortable but starts shedding badly after every wash. Definitely not durable.

Pésima calidad
Al día de usarlos les salen bolitas. Sí son suaves, pero no valen la pena.
