We used these plates, cutlery and matching tablecloths and napkins for my grandson's Mad Scientist birthday party. They were good quality and very festive looking.

We bought these to use for my son's science themed birthday party. They are a little thin and flimsy, but then again they are paper plates, so I can't say I didn't expect that. They worked well for cake. I liked the colors and they matched the rest of the decor so overall I was happy with the purchase.

I love having cute party ware available both at home and at work. When my son was turning 5, we had a science party, and these would have been perfect! But that was 6 years ago. Now, I work in an office with a bunch of environmental professionals (i.e. nerds), and we like to have events/potlucks. Pi day is coming up.This is the perfect little set for that!The design is what makes it, although the quality of the pieces is good. The napkins have that kind of shiny, slick surface to them because of the design, so they're not the most soft and absorbent. But hopefully my office mates won't spill all of their drinks and we'll be fine!

In the product photos, I thought these items were black, but the plates are a very dark blue and the napkins are a much brighter blue. I’m fine with the plate color, but the napkins do not match the plate color at all, which was disappointing. They are as pictured in a different product review, but do not look like the advertised photos. Aside from that, they do seem good quality and good value. It would be helpful for the product description to clearly list the colors.

The plates are sturdy and will hold food and cake. The bright orange forks set the tone. The napkins are absortamente enough. My kids are happy with them.
