PowerPlus Stork - Solar USB Portable DAB+/FM Radio with Alarm

What a fantastic little gadget! Lovely sound and easy to use. my only gripe is the tiny weeny writing on the instructions!! Had to get my daughter to sort it for me as I had no chance to be able to read it!! Cant wait to take it camping with me, DAB Smooth here we come!!

Tiny.Rubbish sound.You've to set up a separate solar panel to charge it.Bought as a gift for my wife who loves her gardening & music but her old solar radio died.Don't think she's ever used it because of yhe faff & rubbish sound, therefore a complete waste of money.

Bought this to replace my Roberts solar radio on my allotment as it was awkward having to tilt the radio towards the sun. Arrived ahead of time so great on delivery. Unfortunately, the radio comes nowhere near expectations. The good thing is the solar panel is good for being able to direct to sun without moving radio but, the panel is of very low quality, a stick on panel which is useless as soon as even the whispiest of clouds cover the sun. Also, DO NOT LEAVE THE SOLAR PANEL PLUGGED IN! It will back drain the battery when there is no sun, completely draining within an hour. The battery is way too small,with todays battery technology, this could easily be remedied with a larger capacity phone battery as the one in the radio looks just like a Nokia phone battery from older model phones but without the same capacity. If you have sound half way, the battery lasts approximately 3 hours on DAB. Increase volume and you're lucky to get 2 hours! Just a few simple tweaks could make this a really good radio but if you can afford £25 more, get a Roberts as it has way better solar capability. Overall, very disappointed. Expected better from this company.

V small compact radio, can charge with solar or usb, or can use 3 AAA batts. Comes in a handy protective case.I found it easy to use, it also has an alarm facility. It arrived extremely quickly and would be great for camping, traveling or just sitting in the garden.
