I don't understand how this Mava Sleeve is working, but it is...
I ordered the Mava "CrossMax" Elbow Sleeves, size: Large, color: Black & Grey. They are 40% Latex, 10% Spandex, and 50% Nylon. I must admit I was quite the skeptical 59 year old when I ordered this compression sleeve. I couldn't see how it could possibly help with the extreme elbow pain I have endured from tendonitis...but it was a cheap solution so I bought a pair. I've worn these Mava's for exactly one week now, all day long while at work, where I routinely lift objects weighing over 30 pounds. My elbows are 12" around, and I ordered the Large size, which turned out to be perfect. They are tight, but not uncomfortable. I wear them for about 12 hours per day. They have held up just fine. I have not washed them yet, but I will tonight. We'll see how well they stand up to washing and drying. Construction is pretty high quality, which was a surprise. I thought they'd be "cheaper", since they are not expensive. Bottom line: This is a good product, easy to use, comfortable, and my pain has subsided drastically in only one week. I can feel my hand strength improving daily. Finally I feel like there is an end in sight for this horrible tendonitis, which has plagued me for years. I will order another pair and keep them in my vehicle for emergencies.

Comfortable with a minor quibble
These sleeves are nice, they offer very even compression. I find them to be mostly comfortable as well however, my biggest complaint is the horizontal piping/ridging on the elbow which is extremely uncomfortable on your elbows after resting them on a surface for a while. These sewn-in ridges are only on the elbows as I suppose function as a visual aid to where you need to place the sleeve, but it ends up rubbing your skin. It's a minor complaint, but one all the same.

The quality of these elbow sleeves are great. They provide the support needed to protect the elbows on the tendons to the triceps and biceps of the arms as well as the ligaments. Based on the size chart it was easy to determine the fit with a measure tape. The elastic stretch gave more then adequate support to avoid elbow locking for workouts. The only downsize is that it is knitted. If someone were to do intense training, these can get hot and cause excessive sweating. Overall, a great product to have to support those elbows.

Not a compression sock in the true sense - why I like it.
One star off for not having the color I want and pretty expensive for an elastic band IMO. SAying that the orange is nice.Goes on well and is tight enough to offer support without being constrictive - in the past, my issues with these types of support sleeves was that an athletic build, which is whom they're made for, made it difficult to put them on! These are comfortable, thick and stretchy without slipping off. N.B. I only bought them as elbow rash-guards for BJJ, and not for lifting, but I suspect I will use them in the weight room after all.

Such good quality!
These helped so much after a bad fall. I never realized how much stabilizing the elbows also helps with chronic shoulder pain. These are high quality and very easy to forget they’re even on.

More affective than Copperfit
I bought a copper fit after I bought these...and these were a lot more comfortable!! I felt the difference between the 2 brands. Plus Copperfit costs twice as much as Mava.

Best compression sleeves out there...
I'm a 6'2, 242 pound class bench presser, with almost thirty years under the bar. These, without a doubt, are the best elbow compression sleeves I have ever used and I've used just about everything out there. These Mava are better than sleeves costing two to three times the Mava price. I ordered the 'large' (elbow measurement is 13 inches) and they are nice and snug and I can get through seventy-five to ninety minutes of training without them causing any discomfort. IF you lift in a federation that allows sleeves when you bench you could probably drop down to even a 'medium' at, or around, my elbow size comfortably for even greater support and rebound. Big added plus is no elbow pain while benching or doing accessory tricep and bicep work.

Elbow Compression Brace
I pulled the muscles of my left elbow trying to close an old sliding glass door. Hurt like the dickens, plus I could hardly move my elbow . I am 71, and was told to just rest it. As it is hard for me not to use my arms I got the brace. Have use MAVA knee braces for a long time. After five days of use, it helped my muscles and the majority of the pain went away. I still use the brace when working in my shop or gardening. Great product. Thanks for making it.:0)
