Briggs and Stratton Genuine 692046 Fuel Cap Intek and Quantum

I misplaced the cap for the Briggs & Stratton 450E engine on my Villager mower about a YEAR ago now and just cannot find it for the life of me, I actually think aliens took it. After living for all that time with the shocking "temporary fix" you see in the "before" picture (I do not recommend this solution for fire safety reasons) I finally found this replacement cap. I couldn't be 100% sure it would fit but I took the risk and what do you know, perfect! I can't really fault it as it does exactly what it is supposed to, and now I no longer have an excuse not to mow the garden! I suppose it looks a bit cheap and plasticky, but that's probably because it is, or maybe just because it's new and clean. Certainly not going to complain about that, it does the job. I expect the old one will turn up now.

Quick delivery, fits the lawnmower, no doubt we will find the old petrol cap somewhere in the borders where it got lost!

Some how lost filler cap after filling mower with petrol! Doh. Found a cap from Jerry can fitted (poorly) as a short term fix until this arrived, Mountfield mower with Briggs n Stratton 300 engine. Arrived swiftly fitted perfectly. 2 days later found original! Now have a spare so I won't have that problem ever again! Just lump of plastic saw alternatives cheaper but who wants to take chances with petrol escaping?

Amazon’s return policy is another successful add on that keeps me coming back. Like most purchasers of these little ancillaries I thought “would it fit?” Will I be able to return it is a key aspect and fortunately no needIt fits, a bargain supermarket mower with a Briggs & Stratton 575EX engine where the cap had been mislaid by husband or wife (we both deny all knowledge of it). A search and a few clicks on Amazon - result happiness.

Fitted my lawnmower perfectly as advertised. Previous original fuel cap came off and was lawnmowered into some parallel universe never to be found again, although I still look every now and then, a fools errand.
