Not durable, started leaking right after return window (RESOLVED)
The product seems to be sturdy and was working as expected until 4 weeks. Later, it started dripping via one of the stopper knobs. Unfortunately it happened just after the return window!Edit: The seller DBR-Tech TM reached out seeing this review. Although it was out of the return window, the seller refunded the money in full and also sending a replacement product free of cost. Super impressed with their proactiveness. Note: The seller did not ask me to edit my review, I'm doing this by myself.

Works great. Easy valves
The last one I had broke in weeks. This is far more sturdy and the valves twist easy.

Failed again! Can't handle constant pressure
This is my second one, a replacement from the manufacturer because the first one failed in a couple of months. This also failed in a few months. Both times the item was leaking out the screw hole in the shutoff lever and yes, I tightened the screw. It is obvious this splitter cannot handle constant pressure. I live in a 5th wheel on my father-in-laws property, taking care of him because he is sick. I have this hooked into a regular residential line/spigot in the yard. So, one side has constant flow to the RV while the other does not as it is used for the yard. The first one failed in two places- where plastic meets metal junctures and the lever- while the second failed at the lever.I won't be seeking a replacement as I am sure third time will not be a charm.

Update: customer service very good REF: Inferior product - 2 broke - no reply to emails
Update:After writing this review the seller offered a refund AND a replacement item. They certainly want their customers to be happy. It looks like what I wanted in a splitter doesn't exist for less than $35 - a heavy duty item that doesn't leak and has valve handles that are easy to turn on and off. As a seller I would certainly recommend them - my original product I purchased I would not recommend. The nickel plated splitter replacement is certainly a good product, but has the pitfall of tiny handles and very tight stiff valves (keeps them from leaking).Original:Ordered this item in April. Sent email to provider that unit did not couple well with hoses and leaked terribly. They have a no questions asked guaranty, They responded quickly to my email. I requested a brass replacement, (actually $1 less). After 3 days I received a box, but it had another plastic unit. Rather than going through the trouble of return / replacement, I used the 2nd unit they sent to check if it worked better. It was OK for a few weeks, but now the shutoff lever broke. I sent ANOTHER email, but they have not responded so far. Just looking to have a working product. In the interim (since they didn't respond to my second emai) I ordered a brass unit from another seller. Brass are much more heavy duty, but the valve levers are always very small and are hard to turn. Still waiting for a reply from original seller. I will give them a second star since the original email was answered promptly, but don't buy this product, it is inferior.

Sturdy and Handy
I've had a variety of water-line "Y" connectors previously but these are absolutely the beefiest and strongest I've ever had. When the description says "heavy duty metal" that's truth in advertising. There is plenty of water and water pressure with these devices, and when you cut them off...they're OFF. No leaking, no dripping. These cost a bit more than the cheaper versions, but they are absolutely worth the small extra cost. I suspect they are going to last many years longer than the cheap ones.I have even accidentally let one go through a very hard winter (low-teen temperatures) and it survived intact (though I certainly don't recommend that).I have 15 water sprinklers going at my place (off of a 400-foot deep water well on the 2-acre lawn) and I use a lot of "Y" connectors. You can rest assured I'll be buying more as my older, cheaper items wear out.

Comes with everything you need
Came just as pictured. The splitter felt like a good quality product, levers seemed to work well and completely shut off water with out leakage. Came with spare gaskets/washers and the teflon tape. Would buy again.

Very nice "Y" garden hose splitters
Man,I love this type of "Y" splitter for garden hoses. One becomes two ends, both with on/off valves that work very smooth but tight. It's the long arm on the ballvalve that turns it off/on is the key. And it's rubberised to boot, so very easy on your fingers to create the force needed to rotate the ballvalve in it's chamber. Don't get the others with those small nob like things, you be breaking out the pliers to turn the soon enough. Very nice indeed.

May not last long in some environments
I had this on the the hose Bibb that right in front of my house which does get sun coverage for most of the day. It functioned as intended and the valves operated very smoothly. Until one day it started to spring a small leak. Tried tightening it just a bit more but only helped a little. After taking it off the neck seems to have broken off. This splitter did not see heavy use however was always connected to the hose Bibb and hoses. One thing I didn’t like was the way the valves opened or closed. It seems backwards from what I am used to. Overall I did like the feel and texture as well as the long handles for the valves. Just seems that it has a weak point.
