Amazing Company!
Amazing Company!...Amazing!...purchased this to hang our baby monitor...but the Camera sticky tape fell out. Called the company on a weekend, i.e. Sunday, and less than 24 hours James with Customer service calls me up and offers to send a replacement clip. This is what you call Customer Service!...Also - for folks that have issues with item sticking to the wall or camera. I have had ZERO issues with it sticking to the wall. That's because you HAVE to "Cure" the adhesive before placing on the wall. I.E. need to place the adhesive on surface for 24 hours before placing camera. The only reason I believe my Camera adhesive came out, was because I tinkered with it alot 2 months later, as opposed to the wall adhesive which is holding strong for past 8 months! But AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!, and a great product. You don't know what you have until its gone...we currently have the camera on another bedpost, because I can't hang it until the replacement clip comes in....and its horrible. Company is right you can't put the camera near the crib, because baby might grab the wires....So this product was amazing, and we NOW realize how important it was and well needed!

Simple, effective, useful product
This is so great! I wish I knew about it with my first child. I am currently expecting my second, and came across this at a baby store. After researching it a little more, I decided to get one. It ended up being the perfect solution for my toddler's room. I mounted it today in the corner of his room, and can see his entire full-size bed. Previously, I had the camera sitting on top of his dresser across the room and the view was FAR less than ideal. Now, I can clearly see what he is up to. I am using it with a Levana camera/monitor, but also tested it out with my older Motorola monitor, and both fit well on the shelf. It was so easy to install. And, I am thrilled that I do not have to use any screws to keep it in place or risk damaging his walls. The command adhesive strips are fantastic, and readily available if I need to move it for some reason.

We may have been better off just screwing a couple of screws in the ...
Update: now not only was it bad but it also fell off the wall! very lucky that we have carpet under it and the camera didn't break. We came home to find it and all of the components on the floor. Extremely dissapointed. We may have been better off just screwing a couple of screws in the wall and hanging the camera by itself. This shelf tapes to the wall with thick black tape. No matter what we did, the tape is visable above or below the shelf, so it looks like you have a black line on the wall. I also cant imagine that it's not going to rip off at least paint when we remove it some day. Screw holes would have been better. Also, the clip that hooks it into the shelf is not that secure to the shelf. Also, ones you afix the hook to the camera, it no longer allows you to sit the camera flat elsewhere. We liked to move our camera every so often, and travel with it, but it will make it really hard to do in the future. The grooves in the corner of the shelf are big enough to keep the cord in, but not big enough for the plug to come through, so if you do put the cord though it means that the cord is not permanently there until you remove the shelf completely. Not nearly as helpful as intended.

Very reliable!
For those who are looking for a truly Universal mounting option, this is it. It appears that the negative reviews all have one thing in common...they used the tape provided. Tape on drywall is typically a bad combination and I would most certainly recommend screwing the unit to the wall with some wall anchors and screws. The unit works like a charm and provides a wide angle view of the nursery. I mounted my cacagoo monitor and it took 5 minutes with screws. Don’t believe the negativity folks, this is great!

Works Surprisingly Well!
I had this a couple of weeks before I installed it because I was leery that 1. I wanted to install it in a corner and 2. it was secure (it mounts only with adhesive command strips that have a velcro-like texture on each side). The end result is "YES" for both my concerns. Following the instructions carefully, the corner shelf was a perfect fit for a lightweight security camera I installed in my elderly mother's apt. The camera was not a VuSee model, but was lightweight enough for this shelf installation. Be aware that the shelf hangs at a 40 degree angle and camera hangs by a plastic hook adhered to the base of the camera. (There is another flat model you can buy if you do not want to mount in a corner). It's only been a week but all mountings seem very secure so far and I'm very happy I didn't have to use any tools & screws to install.

Great Tool
This is by far one of the best and most important tools I have purchased. I have a toddler and need to keep and eye, so this tool came very handy when it comes to putting the monitoring camera in a place where it could not be reached by a toddler. It is very easy to mount (multiple times if needed) with 3M adhesive wall tape and it is sturdy enough to keep a camera on it 24/7. If you need something to ensure it will not fail you, this is the correct tool. (Please make sure your camera is compatible as you will need to keep it steady on this leaning platform).

Works just fine if you don't use the 3M tape.
There's no reason to not love this thing if you hang it with screws. Skip the "useless" (my opinion only) 3M foam tape for hanging and go ahead and put some dang holes in your walls. Your going to be using a monitor for at least 3 years anyway. After that time, you (and your kid) will probably want to repaint anyway and you can choose to fix the holes then, or not and hang the monitor back up. This shelf holds our Samsung Brightview just fine. I can take some photos later if I remember, but the baby is asleep now and I am NOT fixing to possibly disturb her for you fine readers. Sorry. I used some washers to ensure more holding area for the shelf. I pretty much went overboard because them devious kiddos will attempt to destroy anything they can get their hands on. And though the cord is pretty hard for my child to reach, I wasn't going to take chances that she might eventually grab hold and and attempt to pull that camera down.UpdateAdded photo. You cannot see the washer I placed on the backside of the shelf.
