Thin and tuff to chew so it’s a work out! For people with no crowns on their teeth and aren’t hungry cause it’s a while to eat just a couple of them :( kinda bummed it wasn’t cheap and I love squid

So, this might be my fault for not understanding what I was buying. I THOUGHT it would be a thin, crispy, easy to chew snack to have with beer as was recommended on a video I watched, but I also can’t read Japanese. Sooo these are NOT crunchy, OR meant to be a snack. They are rock hard and chewy if anything. I have NO idea what they could be used for except maybe being rehydrated in a soup as it cooks to add squid flavor. You have permission to make fun of my mistake.

I don't understand how others can say anything bad about this dried squid (other than the price) because its so good! It's spicy yet extremely flavorful, it's so good in fact that I ordered several bags already. It's expensive but so is everything else. This is a luxury food that not everyone will be able to afford unfortunately but if you have the money to spend then go for it. Oh just be prepared to have a sore jaw. It's really tough that my jaw started to hurt pretty bad but only because I couldn't stop eating it lol

When I tell you I regretted not buying more. These are so dang good and the flavor reminds me of my favorite Honey Butter chips. These are a great snack especially when I’m reading, I don’t know they’re just such a comfort food

Slightly spicy, slightly sweet, slightly salty and not too fishy. Great snack.
