This thing is well made out of iron. It’s heavy, but built to last for years. Shorty after receiving, I grilled some hamburgers and pork chops, and they turned out wonderful. This hibachi is great for small back yard grilling, and could also be used on camping trips. It also comes with a cover to protect it from the weather. Glad I made this purchase.

Received today. The bolts sent with the grill are way too short The nuts don't even connect with them...rated 4 stars because of this flaw.. Fortunately I had some bolts of the same width or I would have had to go buy some longer ones. The quality of this grill is top notch. Heavy cast iron, should be able to have this forever. Raining today so can't cook, but will let you know as soon as I can get grillin'!

When I was young, we used to cook on a hibachi grill all the time. The thing I really like about it is the fact that I have a gas grill already so I can cook something if I need to do it fast and now I have a hibachi grill which I can use charcoal grill, which is much tastier than gas.

This cast iron grill is well made and is very much like the old, original "Sportsman Grill" from BSR and Lodge.With proper care it should last a lifetime.

The grill requires just two bolts to assemble but both bolts where way to short and the opposing nut could barely be rotated once to grab the threads of the bolt. That won't stay together and would fall apart at some random time when you tried to move the "portable" grill, dumping ash everywhere. Also, the fuel door opens and closes on 2 tabs that fit in slots but one of the 2 tabs on my grill was broken at the factory because the box was NOT damaged. This means the door keeps falling off. It fell off twice just trying to carry it to my outdoor patio. Amazon picked it up and issued a full replacement. Also, Alvina at Amazon customer service spoke very clear English with a soft cute Asian accent. Kind of fun talking to her actually.Buyer be where!

Item is decent build. The cast texture is rough and you should have a bit of caution when handling as there are some sharp shards, especially the cooking grill.Item description specifically lists "[Improved Stability]: 4 legs extend out from solid base..." but this is not the case. I was sent a 3 legged version and I have some concerns about the stability. After putting down the hot coals, I put the cooking grill on to heat up and burn off the protective wax. I then proceeded to use a grill brush to wipe off the wax and as you apply an sort of pressure to the edges, the grill wants to tip. That's super scary when it's filled with hot coals. Also this could potentially lose your food if your weight distribution isn't balanced so you will always need to be mindful of this. 3 legs was a bad idea for an otherwise nice little grill.

Great little grill. Well made and will probably last forever.
