Great foundation! I did a lot of research when buying my Nest Bedding Alexander Hybrid. Went California King. The foundation they offered was a little low-- we are both taller people and like our mattress higher off the ground. The foundation went together in about 10 minutes with no extra tools required. So far it's been incredibly sturdy- no squeaking or motion whatsoever. It's pretty impressive how solid it is for how easy it was to set up. Plus there's a ton of storage space underneath, it's almost like getting a new closet. Really handy for apartment living where space is limited. If you're curious, the Alexander Hybrid is a perfect fit in this foundation and doesn't slide at all. I did buy an 18" bedskirt to go with it- note there's a slight dip where the mattress sits in the foundation which raises the skirt off the ground just a touch. A 20" drop would have been perfect, but the 18" looks just fine. May need to wrap the legs in foam, I'm clumsy and likely to kick the metal bars a few times a week. But otherwise, great purchase.

One thing that is important to note: pay attention to where the slats should be placed and the distance between each.All the tools necessary for set up came in the box.This bed frame is a great height. Perfect for using the under bed area for extra storage.There is a slight lip around the frame so the mattress fits inside the frame a bit. The mattress does not slip around on the frame when I get into the bed or change the sheets.Strong and supportive of my body when I sit or lay down on the mattress.

Sleep place 18-in high profile heavy duty steel slat mattress foundation bed frame. OMG this bed frame is so sturdy. I needed a bed frame and I needed it quickly like yesterday I went through my search. I primarily picked this specific frame because of the 18-in height. It's going into a very small apartment with not much storage space. I needed enough space under the bed to be used as storage. My apartment is small with one closet. I needed a little extra space to store away things that can be readily available to me within the apartment. I paired this bed frame with a 10-in foam mattress. I thought I would need a box spring but the number of cross beams on the frame made it quite comfortable to simply put the mattress on the frame. The only thing I put between the bed frame and the mattress was a couple open cardboard boxes. I recently found a reasonable bed skirt that covered the 18-in around the bed which hides what I have stored under the bed. CONS: if I really wanted to be picky. I would recommend placing a piece of board under the legs of the frame if you are concerned about indentation on your carpet. However I personally do not think it's a big deal. I also would say that this is not a bed that you would move around very easily. Once it's in place be prepared for it to stay that way unless you're moving. I may have gone overboard with the amount of storage space under the bed. However it was so easy to slide the 64 quarts storage containers under the bed. This bed frame is sturdy enough for a combined weight of 450 lbs regularly sleeping on it. It does not shake nor squeaks. The combined height of the mattress and the 18-in frame allows me at 5ft6in to sit comfortably at the edge of the bed with my toes touching the floor. The length of the bed from head to toe works very well for an individual 6 ft. 2 in tall. I would absolutely and have absolutely recommend this bed as well as would purchase it again. To those who may be considering this bed frame. If you're able to envision the frame with a nice mattress and a bed skirt to match your room it's perfect. Giving my reviews are a process. If and when i am able i will post more picturesOh! I was not able to assemble this frame on my own. However, it is a one man job. Hope you fine this useful.

Fabulous, arrived quickly, went together in less than 30 minutes (I was moving fast and I have a lot of experience with tools, so your time may be a little longer) there were spare screws which I didn't need but it was a sure sign of good quality and forward thinking to have them. Really solid, I was surprised how much of the transference of movement was because of our box springs, without them in the mix any more I can barely tell when my husband gets out of bed. I was aware from reading some of the other reviews that there could be issues with the totes not fitting under the bed, which is true, my purchase of totes turned out to be a bit tight, I put little squares of cardboard I cut out of the box under the feet to boost it up a fraction, the issue of fitting the tubs under was exacerbated by being on carpet. The bedroom I will be putting this in a couple of months does not have carpet so I am going to order some of those furniture floor protectors to not only protect the floor but give the frame the 1/4" lift it needs to make the totes slide under without a fight. My husband who is very tall used to struggle to get up out of our low laying bed, with this frame its just roll over and stand up. I am very pleased with this bed frame and would highly recommend it to anyone.

It's easy to put together and great for any size bed. Overtime though it loses its sturdiness. Ours actually broke at the welding and we had to buy a new frame after having it for 6 or 7 years.
