GREAT potty seat!
I purchased one of these seats about 10 years ago because I wanted a seat that would serve many purposes & not just be a potty seat, & then serve no other purpose. I bought it because it is a step stool which can be used for brushing teeth, washing hands, etc... I also like that the seat ring can be used on a big potty so little bums don't fall into the big potty. I also like that it is STURDY & VERY PORTABLE.. I bring it in my van or SUV trunk without any issue. It comes apart into 3 pieces.. the cup you potty into, the seat ring, & the main body... SUPER easy to throw in the tub, sink, or yard to hose off whenever/if needed.Another GREAT plus I LOVE is that the set encourages PROPER knee positioning to help with a proper & full elimination when pooping... the knees are in the perfect pooping poosition for littles :).In a desperate moment a few times, I myself have managed to use this potty in the back of my van.. it wasn't exactly overly comfortable, but it served the purpose when I had to pee & could not find an open public bathroom... & kept me from getting a ticket when I was looking around for a bush to pee in until a cop pulled up.I STILL have the 10 year old potty set left & we still use it as a step stool, but the removable cup was nowhere to be found, so I decided to buy a new one when I found it for sale on Amazon for a great price. People are selling used potties on FB for what this cost new on Amazon, so I decided new was the way to go & I knew it would last for years to come.I RECOMMEND this potty seat & WOULD purchase it again.. it is perfect for any child... great for those who want a multi purpose seat, that is durable, & will last for years to come.. even if you don't need it to lasts for years to come, you could resell it, donate it, etc. So nice to keep things out of the landfill when they can be reused :).

Comparison to 3 others
We have 4 potties. The red paw patrol by ginsey, an oxo travel, the summer infant in blue and green, and a grey and white munchkin. The paw patrol potty is my least favorite but it is my kids favorite. I don’t like that it comes apart, it allows pee to get in between the pieces. The gray spray guard is really big, it makes it difficult for my small twins to climb over, it frequently gets folded over and stuck under a leg. Pee gets in between the cushion and the hard plastic part and it’s not easy to get apart without wearing gloves if you want to clean it, and you will need to. It also has no grip and slides all over the toilet seat. I put hot glue on the underside to remedy this. The summer infant blue and green one: my kids loved getting to decorate this and it was a great intro to potty’s. It’s easy to clean and use, very standard stand alone potty, good as a step stool as well.Munchkin white and grey seat: I’ll call this one my favorite. It doesn’t slide around the seat, it’s all one solid piece, which makes it easy to clean and take places.Oxo portable potty: we love this potty. It folds open and closed by pressing buttons on the leg joints. It has little silicone star grabber thingys so you can put a plastic baggy on to catch waste. It also comes with some sample travel bags that have a paper liner but you could make your own with grocery bags and paper towels/panty liners. Or just put a container under it. It also folds open all the way to sit on a standard toilet, although is not super sturdy so provide supervision.

What!? I can use the seat on a regular toilet!!!
Love this potty! I have been using this to potty-train my toddler, and the stickers were a huge incentive to help with potty training. I went and bought extra stickers and now his seat is littered with all kinds of stickers demonstrating his potty training success! Once he has gotten a little bigger, I wanted to move him onto the adult toilet, and I was looking for a separate seat that fits over a regular oval shaped toilet seat. Behold, I soon discovered that I can "convert" the potty seat by taking the white part of the potty seat and set it on top of our toilet without the need to buy an extra seat! It fits really well, and the remaining part is now used as a step-stool to help my toddler get on the toilet. Now my toddler is proud that he can use the toilet just like a big kid! This is a simple, easy potty without all the bells and whistles, which is exactly what I wanted, and it works well and gets the job done.

Great quality and features for the very reasonable price!
I bought this as a 'backup' potty so we wouldn't have to navigate the stairs to the upstairs bathroom for every potty trip with a toddler. It was less than half the cost of the 'main' potty, but it is actually as good and in some ways better. This training potty is simple, but pretty well made and well designed. It came with a sheet of jungle animal stickers to decorate it. Instead of coming off entirely (and then getting placed on the floor), the seat 'flips up' with a normal toilet seat for cleaning. I like this style, but some prefer the entirely lift-off seat either for cleaning or to use as a kid seat on the toilet once potty is outgrown. The bowl/receptacle is large and has a good shape for pouring, which helps make it easier to empty the potty without mess. We haven't had any leak or mess problems so far.My toddler was more excited about the character-themed potty we also own than he was about this one, but the Summer Infant potty performs better in pretty much all practical ways. It's main downside is that it's VERY light, so light that it sometimes skids across the smooth bathroom floor when my son goes to sit down and bumps it with his legs. For the same reason I am not particularly excited about using this as a step stool. In general it's quite a good choice for potty training, and a great choice if you care more about value and convenience then appearance or ability to be used as a toilet seat or step stool.
