This works great! I slice a full 3.5lb bottom round into 4 steaks they fit in there great but plenty of room for air to circulate. I enjoy my biltong on the rare to medium rare side so about 72hours is perfect. I wish you could set the timer for longer, it goes 24 hours max so you have to reset it every day.My biltong comes out of it perfectly every time.

Great machine. My first attempt at biltong went really well. Its quiet, the temperature appeared to be accurate and it's attractive. Price point was pretty good to. I cant wait until my next batch!

My husband loves this machine. It makes perfect biltong every time! The recipe book is a great bonus. It's pretty quiet sitting on my kitchen counter. It holds a lot of meat!

I have been watching this product for a while now and finally decided to buy it!!!I am now on my second batch of biltong and highly recommend this unit!!! I am a novice biltong maker but, as a South African living in the USA, I really miss eating the stuff.I'm super happy to be able to make it myself!!! The first batch turned out really well. It was so easy to make and I can't wait to try the next batch!!!Buy it, you won't be sorry!!!!

When I plugged in the appliance, I got shocked by the unit and it tripped my circuit breaker. Does not appear as though quality control is effective. Waiting on a replacement. Wasting $50 worth of meat.

Makes chilly sticks, biltong, and dried bacon just like it was from South Africa. I love this! Great buy!

Disclaimer - haven't used to make biltong yet, just unpacked. For a company started by South Africans, it should have been known that if you want to dry Biltong at room temp it takes longer than 24 hours and I don't want to reset the machine once per day. I purchased because it's a nice looking unit that would display nicely and doesn't look like your local village tinkerer through it together. Considering returning unless there's a simple solution ("Fan and light only mode" or something), don't want to have to modify it, but looks like I may have to if I want to keep it.
