Product Description ProRep straw bedding can be used for tortoises as well as many other large snakes and lizards that originate from arid habitats. It is made from compressed straw pellets to provide a soft bedding that should not cause impaction if eaten. 5 Litre straw bedding. Directions Spread the substrate evenly over the bottom of the enclosure to a depth of at least 1-2” (2.5-5cm). Spot-clean daily and completely replace every two or three weeks or more frequently if it becomes heavily soiled or wet. This substrate should not be used wet. great product confusing add on rules
You get roughly 2.8KG in each bag, an alternative sold my amazon at 20kg would maybe be more value for money, I got this as was confused with weight conversation.They used Hermes delivery which I don't recommend as they wont leave cards half the time and wont leave with anyone else eg neighbour.I'm normally happy with amazon delivery.I wont use this add on feature again far to complicated and only works with some products so I had to make a full order up with the add on products alone.The product itself is great been using it for years for my reasonably large tortious because he eats everything and this it technically edible (though he has stopped eating it finally)
