The booklet is tiny print, the instructions are terrible. Once you put it together, it sticks up from the box and the box is lopsided when closed (maybe put in a tray or something). Works ok, but you cut your hands up if you don't have proper gloves.

I got this with half inch and quarter inch grids. The half inch is easy to cut, but for the quarter inch shoestring size, it needs more effort than a suction cup supports.I found that cutting the larger end off, then manually starting the cut end (push it onto the blades a bit) before using the lever made it much easier to use. You also need something ready to catch the cut fries that takes no hands, because one will be holding the device, and the other operating the lever.Removing the grids and push pads fir cleaning is easy. What works best is putting the machine on it's rear do the thumbscrews are up, then unscrew the thumbscrews, storing the parts in a small container, then remove the cutting grid and pusher for cleaning.Apart from the leverage/hold problem with the shoestring grid, this us an udeal way of cutting French fries.

I've been wanting to make it easier for me to cut potatoes into fries. This product cuts fries perfectly. However, I really have to put quite a bit of strength and it moves around which makes it hard and tiredsome.
