Perfect
Excellent Flashlight. I probably buy 6-8 flashlights a year, because I like flashlights. Different sizes, brightness, and features depending on where I'll be using most (car, home, backpack, etc.) This will be my new home general purpose flashlight.Pros - It's really bright. Don't have a lumens meter to test, but it sure looks like 1000 lm to me. Easily illuminates a house 150 yards down the street. - Broad beam. 3 lead diodes with a multi-faceted reflector produce a great distributed light with a nice wide bright spot in the center. - Partial Rubber Coated. Great feel in the hand and grip as well as protecting the flashlight from dings and drops. Also nice to be able to place it on a counter or nightstand without worrying about scratching the furniture. - Uses AA Batteries. Comes with 6 in the package, and I don't have to buy the 18650 batteries. I can find AA batteries at any store, not so with the specialty 18650.- Not Rechargeable. I can keep spare batteries in the drawer at home and take with me anywhere. If a rechargeable flashlight is dead, it's dead until the power comes back on to recharge it. - Two Position Switch. It has High and Low, and not all the stupid blinking light modes that nobody uses. It's also a slide switch rather than a button, so you can move the switch directly to the desired setting without having to cycle through with multiple clicks of a button.Cons: - No Focus Ring. If there was one feature I would like to add to this flashlight, it's the ability to adjust the beam to a tight focus on a small spot. Mainly need to see specific areas at a very long distance - over 500 yards.

Batteries corroded within 18 months, and no replacement part is available
Received as a gift. It worked great for a year. But since I can't use it and can't fix it, it was a total waste of my friend's money.

BEAM ME UP
Very nice lite. It will shine objects a block ahead and when switched on high is bright as or more than most auto highbeams. It's like the halogen fog lights in the clutches of your kung-fu grip. Battery life is limitless and more than capable of producing the gigawatts necessary for the flux capacitor all so now a built-in feature with this ILLUMILAST ufo energy beam. My favorite I've ever owned and absolutely a must have.

Batteries corroded inside light in 2 years making it useless
Although Coleman claimed "Allows batteries to be stored in your device for years (up to their inherent shelf life)", this was not the case for me. Since this was a replacement for another light that had failed 2 years earlier, they would not replace it. I was very disappointed that their 3 yr warranty extends from the initial flashlight. So if yours fails just shy of 3 years and they replace it, your new light essentially has 'NO' warranty. Otherwise, I was happy with the light.

Annoyed
I got it and either I don’t know how to use a flashlight or it wouldn’t cut up. Been a year of toying with it and nothing
