This 4Tbyte solid state drive is perfect for my Mac Studio. It is tiny, reliable, quiet and fast. Set-up was a breeze and it’s been working flawlessly completing routine periodic back-ups of my system. I am a wildlife photographer and the Crucial serves as one of my photo library storage disks. I might buy another to use with my MacBook for extra file storage and back-up on the road. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Lightning fast, and lot's of storage in such a small form factor.I mostly use it to store games and movies. Running games off it is no problem. Loading times are super fast.

Small and compact and very good for traveling which is one of the reasons I bought. It’s also very fast and has great capabilities. Only thing that dragged the review down was the usb c wire, which makes transferring things into the drive a little slower than what the drive is capable of but that was an easy fix.

The only thing I don't know is how long it will last because there's obviously no way to know that until the years pass. I bought this as a safe backup for important data (a second redundant drive to back up an older one), and I hope it will last for many many years. What I do know is that it is MUCH faster than the drive I'm backing up. It consistently mounts faster, and the data moves with lightning speed. It's also a fraction of the physical size of the one I'm backing up. I'm rather amazed.

Super small and light, no problems so far. Used for video editing on MacBook and it holds up well enough.

I bought this to increase my usable storage. For most purposes it is very fast and there's no discernible difference from using the internal storage. It was reasonably priced and far less expensive than trying to upgrade my internal drive, so I'm very happy with everything so far.
