This is my second pair of these trousers, having purchased a pair for winter riding a year ago.There has been a marked increase in quality for these latest trousers in the material & stitching.The previous pair were in two parts, the outer & a winter liner that zipped in. They had removable knee & hip protection built in.My experience over the year is that the seams started to fray & rip appart & they were not waterproof.These new items are soo much better, however are constructed as a single unit ( no double layer ). This is not a problem as they are sufficently thick. They are waterproof as tested on the road. I have a 38" waist & 32" inside leg & wear these over my regular jeans so I bought a 40" waist with the long leg 34" which are perfect, not too tight & easy to get over my motorbike boots. These latest haveremovable knee protectors, two waterproof zipped pockets & the legs unzip fron top to bottom, secured by velcro.Would buy again.Update.....Was taken out by a car driver last week doing 40mph, ended up sliding on the tarmac. The material around my knee was badly ripped, however the protection stayed in place & saved my knee from damage. Not even a bruise on my knee. Already ordered a new pair.

Ordered one size up from my normal size and trousers fit as I would expect for one size up. Some of the reviews say that they are 'oversized' - I would not order them without going up one size. They seem really well made and the full length leg zippers are an excellent feature making them easy on - easy off. Another plus is that the lining is not the usual 'mesh netting' type lining that snags your shoes/boots when trying to put them on. Unless I have a pair of large boots on, I can put these trousers on unzipping the legs.Also - delivered really quickly from Bike-Wear-Direct as they have on my previous orders from them.In short - I'm really pleased with the trousers and their delivery.

just to let you know before i write this review, i havent recieved anything by way of testing this product from the seller, i am a private buyer and my views are my ownim a 36'' waiste and 6ft tall and i ordered a 36'' long, when i recieved them i was excited so i tried them on to find out they were to long by about a foot and they were to tight on the waiste, so i send them back and got a 38'' waiste and a short in length, again excited to get them and once i tried them on they were perfect, just enough room to wear a pair of tracky bottoms or a pair of shorts underneath, the knee pads are in the perfect position what ever style you have when riding a bike, there thick kevlar and really feel like a good quality and also waterproof, they have a full length zip on both sides from the waiste down to the hem, and when wearing your boots they fit perfect and dont catch whilst your walking or try to get your leg over the bike, so in essence, if your 6ft tall i reccomend you get the short fit and go up one waiste size then you will find out there a perfect fit, ive had many kevlar trousers over my years of biking, but i have to say for the price you cant go wrong, there tough, excellent quality and really comfortable, so i highly reccomend these motorcycle trousers and this seller, im fussy when it comes to protective clothing because at the end of the day, they save lives so i have to give them 5 stars as i cant find a fault with them......

Not waterproof in heavy rain.less than 30 mins on my commute home I ended up with soggy hips, soggy crotch and soaking ankles and socks as the rain wicked up the lining then onto jeans and socks finally filling my boots.They are very warm though so with a pair of Peterstorm Packable water/windproof trousers over the top they are good enough for now.Velcro and zip down each leg is useless as it takes way too much effort to get them off. quicker just to remove boots. then do it.The velcro is really cheap and nasty, it is already shredding and coming away from the tape

I got 28S but although it's short length it's 30" length so it's a bit long for me (28" length). The adjustable belt will help keep it snug around your waist but the trouser and belt does reach high up above my waist by quite a bit.It's very good wearing over trousers or jeans. I got the full length zip thinking that the trousers or jeans would gather up as I put this on normally but the slippery inside material made is easy to pull up. The exterior material is strong (Cordura), I say this because I skidded and fell off the bike, which scratched my leather jacket and underneath it there were small rips and tears, but this product and the trousers underneath were fine. The changeable knee pads protected my knees well but there was no hip protection, so it hurt my hip. There are strong zip pockets on the sides of the front and an extra zip at the back to attach to a jacket I presume.It is waterproof and windproof as far as I can tell but I was wearing thermals when temperatures were reaching 0 degrees so I was not feeling cold on my legs.If you care about protecting yourself on a bike, then this is a great purchase and worth every penny. I wanted something cheaper but I think I would have come off far worse when I fell off the bike so I'm glad that I got this.

Bought for my daily commute, easy to get on and off, seem to have good levels of armour. Bought a size up to fit over trousers, but probably could have got away with my reg size and they would probably still fit.Got a good luminous stripe that shows up in the dark in car headlights, but it’s not hugely overt the rest of the time.Nicely wind proof and pretty water proof too. I have to wear a suit to work, so last thing I need is suit trousers with a wet crotch! My commute is only 20/25 mins so not done hours at a time in the lashing rain. Got caught in a deluge the other day though and they did the job nicely.

Habe die Hose in 66/34 bestellt, da eine Rezensentin geschrieben hatte, man soll lieber eine längere Beinlänge bestellen. 66 Hätte auch passen müssen (trage sonst 64) - aber ich bekomme die Hose nicht mal ohne andere Hose darunter zu (wie es ja eigentlich gedacht ist) und die Beine sind bei mir viel zu lang. Habe nun neu bestellt in 68/30 - müsste ja dann hoffentlich hinkommen. Aktualisierung folgt. Ansonsten fühlt sich die Hose wirklich gut an und ich weiß ja, dass meine Figur "schwierig" ist. Wenn die neue kommt und passt, dann fünf Sterne (wenn sie auch tatsächlich trocken hält).Update 06.11.2019 - habe eben die Rückgabebestätigung erhalten, soll sie aber bezahlen - obwohl die Größenangabe in meinem falsch ist - das ist nicht in Ordnung. Die Bewertung lasse ich erstmal trotzdem so, da die ja nur auf für Produkt an sich gelten soll.Update: Nun ist die Hose in 68/30 angekommen. Oben - um eine Hose drunter zu tragen - immer noch zu eng. Beine weit genug dafür. Knieprotektoren lassen sich nicht verstellen. Hüftprotektoren nicht vorhanden - müssten ja auch nicht, wenn man z.B. die Motorradjeans drunter anziehen könnte. Passt bei mir oben aber nicht, obwohl ich eigentlich 64 habe und dies ist 68! Hm... Na gut, bevor ich nochmal ungerechtfertigt den Rückversand bezahle, probiere ich sie aus, mit dem Risiko, dass sie danach ungenutzt im Schrank hängen wird. Spannend: An der Hose hängt u.A. ein Etikett, das verspricht, dass man - egal- ob minus 60°C oder + 80°C (!!!) das gleiche Gefühl haben soll.. "keine Veränderung in Form, Funktion und Gefühl" steht da. Äh... aha... Waschen darf man sie bei "immerhin" 30°C ok... weiß Bescheid...

La confección es muy buena y los acabados son muy buenos. Cuidado al elegir la talla, pues es 5cm más ancho que la medida que marca de cintura. Yo encargué la medida correcta y luego me iban un poco anchos. Los devolví y me enviaron una talla menos, que me van genial. Son muy calientes y no notas el frío ni el viento. Hecho de menos que el forro interior no se pueda desmontar para poder utilizarlos en veranos también.

Ich trage bei Straßenkleidung W/L32 (176cm/80kg) - bei meiner anderen Motorradkleidung W34/L32 weil ich es beim sitzen/fahren nicht gern so eng habe und habe hier W34/L34 bestellt und dachte mit 5cm Überbreite sollte sich das ja wohl ausgehen, denn man soll noch eine normale Hose darunter anziehen können.Es ist bereits im Stehen sehr eng um die Hüfte bzw. am Bauch. Im Sitzen drückt es schon unangenehm. Nur mit einer Leggings /Thermounterwäsche darunter ist es ok. Zur Not kann man den Reißverschluss offen lassen und mit dem Gurt verschließen der flexibel ist. Mit einer normalen Jeans darunter geht nichts mehr.Fazit: Lieber eine Nummer größer. Oder zwei, wenn man darunter noch eine Hose tragen möchte.

Wer mag schon Regenfahrten, aber auf Touren kommt man oftmals nicht drum rum. Gute Regenbekleidung muss nun mal sein auf längeren Strecken.Zur Regentauglichkeit der Hose kann ich noch nichts sagen, hab sie noch nicht lange, aber zum Produkt selbst kann ich eine Aussage machen.Ich wollte keine dieser dünnen Überzieher, die immer im Wind flattern. Das ist mit dieser Hose anders. Zunächst ist die Passform super, die Beinlänge ist etwas zu kurz, hatte "short" gewählt, "long" wäre wahrscheinlich zu lang gewesen. Das ist aber nicht schlimm, da ich längere Regenüberschuhe habe.Gut ist der durchgehende seitliche Reisverschluss, der den Einstieg mit Schuhen erheblich vereinfacht. Der Reisverschluss scheint sehr wertig zu sein und verhakt nicht.Hab nur einen Stern weniger gegeben, weil ich die Hose im Regen noch nicht testen konnte, kann diesen Artikel aber schon allein wegen der tollen Passform weiter empfehlen.
