I wanted to use my high quality microphone with Smule(singing app). this allows me to do just that. I can now sound more professional while belting out some tunes. Ha!

Perfectly good item, which does the job I bought it for and to a good standard.

It works as intended and the descriptions are accurate. The price feels a little bit high, for such a simple converter, but at the same time, I can't really point out anything that would justify a lower price.

This adapter is useful for scenarios where you have a headset with separate audio and mic jacks. Or you can use it with a separate mic and separate headphones.Or like in my case, you can use it to make a wireless mic system work with an action camera like the DJI Osmo Action 4. It hasn't got a jack mic socket, just a multi-use USB-C port. My wireless mic system is really good, but for some bizarre reason they totally ignored the digital outputs and only provided analog 3.5mm ports. Hence the need for the adapter. As a bonus I also get to plug in any headphones and monitor the mic’s volume.The adapter is very nicely done, with solid metal plugs and very soft, braided cable. It does feel like a quality item. The only small niggle is that the markings on the mic and headphone sockets are not embedded in the body as the item page pictures suggest. They're just transparent stickers. No biggie though.The sound quality is definitely there. 24bit/96kHz is a very decent standard. Very little quality losses if any at all.I'm happy to confirm that the adapter worked with my action camera! Bizarrely though it wouldn't work with my OnePlus 8 Pro mobile, which has a USB-C multi-port and no 3.5mm socket. It should work but it doesn't. Oh well, I'm not going to use it with my mobile anyway. The £11 price is acceptable given the external quality and the sound. Definitely happy to recommend.Thank you for reading my review. I plugged the USB-C into a Samsung A21 phone. Headphone out was fine - a strong, good quality signal. Then I tried the mic in, and at first thought it wasn't working, but when I put the microphone up to my mouth and shouted I got a very weak signal. Contacted Lokuka customer service but they didn't have an answer. However I notice a new model is now available. Update: am now noticed mic side us faulty, so check yours upon receipt and keep the packaging. Unfortunately I didn't so this is just a headphone adaptor now.
