Really good
Why did you choose this product over others?:Price, Protein content, ease of mixing and taste. I’ve been hitting the gym 3 times a week recently. I was marathon training earlier in the year so lost any strength I had. Getting g back in the gym and doing a hard circuit 3 times a week has got me back on it. Using this after every workout and I’ve packed a good few kilo of muscle on. I like it.

Great Quality Protein, Slightly Sweet
I tried the Myprotein Impact Whey Protein - Vanilla (1kg) and overall, it’s a very good supplement. The texture mixes well, and the vanilla flavor is smooth and enjoyable. It’s great in shakes and even works well when added to oats or smoothies. The only thing to note is that it’s a bit on the sweet side—not too overpowering, but definitely noticeable. If you’re sensitive to sweetness, that might be something to keep in mind.Still, it’s a solid, reliable protein option that I’d be happy to use again.

Very sweet but otherwise very good
I have tried, tested, and reviewed around 12 brands of protein powders and around 17 flavours in total, and so when my usual brand (PhD Nutrition) was out of stock on Amazon, I thought I would see what this MyProtein Impact would be like.I am very active and enjoy long-distance running, cycling, indoor rowing, and strength training. To aid with maintaining muscle mass and to aid in recovery I usually consume PhD Nutrition powders, and occasionally purchase Nutravita Protein Powders via Amazon on subscription. It is these two brands that I compare other brands with as I have yet to meet any other brands that meet all my criteria (see below). When I try new protein powders such as this one from MyProtein, I ask myself the same set of questions.1. Does it taste good?2. Does the powder mix well with liquid?3. Does it settle on the stomach?4. Does it have good nutritional value?5. Is it good value for money?6. What else to consider?1. Following the instructions I used 1 heaped scoop in 250ml of oat milk and shook for around 20 seconds. It produced a very smooth frothy milkshake. Taste-wise, if I am honest, there wasn't much "cookie" flavour, it just tasted like a vanilla milkshake. However, for me, it was incredibly sweet, bordering too sweet.2. As mentioned, if mixed really well, with no lumps.3. It settled perfectly on the stomach, with no churning, etc.4. With regards to the nutritional content, this MyProtein powder does have a good amount of protein per 100g at 79g which is comparable to PhD at 82g. MyProtein does have quite a bit of sugar, but I like having a carbohydrate hit after a hard workout.5. In terms of price (£15.79) at the time of review in October 2022, it is comparable with the two brands I usually use out at just over £17 (for Nutravita) and £16 (PhD).6. Other things to consider? I found it impossible to get a good airtight seal once open and had to resort to using a clip-it style fastener. In summary, this is a great protein powder, but just a bit too sweet, and is at a very reasonable cost, and I can therefore recommend it to you.

MUCH nicer than the other variants (diet etc)
This vanillia blends really nicely, no power texture, and works well by itself and with other flavorings I add such as Macha Tea, Pumpkin Spice, Chocolate etc.

Rice pudding shake
Tried this protein shake out for a change. I'd normally buy Ultimate Nutrition Gold. The vanilla flavouring here is pretty nasty. It tastes like the fake vanilla they add to rice pudding or really cheap whippy ice cream. I'll get through it, but I'm glad I only bought a kilo. They lose one star for nasty taste, and another for the portioning. It was sold as "40 portions" but actually it only contains 32, although the 1kg weight is correct. The powder has less protein per gram than Ultimate Nutrition, but the scoop is larger so you end up with the same amount in the end.Otherwise it does what it says on the packet. Contains protein, mixes well, and isn't full of filler gums.

The vanilla one is a 10/10
I'm not joking when I say this is the best protein powder I've ever had. The vanilla one is my absolute go to, it just tastes amazing! An easy way to support your protein intake :)
