Go sloooooow starting out - these are great and work!
Okay, hear me out. Months ago I snagged one of the chocolate shake pouches from Vitamin Shop. Before I knew it I was hooked. First I thought I could move up from 1/2 scoops to 1 scoop, to 2 scoops all in one week and I got SEVERE bloating, gas, and cramping (no poop) - I have IBS-C. Gabe it a break and very very veryyyy slowly worked my way up to 1 1/2 scoops (I can’t do 2 it’s just too much on my gut).I saw the strawberry on Amazon and knew I’d love it - BOY WAS I RIGHT!!!! The thing with the chocolate and the coffee is that eventually it gets to be too much richness and sweet day after day. I now, three months in, find that the thought of the coffee shakes or chocolate shakes makes me want to vomit. GOOD NEWS?! No more sweets cravings, which I’ve always had baddddddd!!! I used to sneak chocolate bars before bed, add a ton of chocolate chips to all of my shakes (including this one), and eat loads and loads of peanut butter spoons dipped in chocolate chips. No more! I can finally go to bed without needing a sweet snack. Now let’s talk flavor, texture, all that stuff.Flavor - The strawberry hands down is my favorite, it’s light and refreshing and makes for a breakfast shake to look forward to that even the flavor gives me energy. Now hold on a second, because I do not regret starting with the chocolate and latte flavor because it did cure my sweet tooth. But they’re really really sweet (I used to love that initially!)Texture - It took me awhile to find a sweet spot here. I initially was blending too large of a shake which made it not flavorful. Each time I always added 1tbsp of peanut butter for texture.Smoothest shakes (based on my trial/error)1/2 scoop - blend with 8oz of milk/ice1 scoop - blend with 10-12oz of milk/ice1 1/4 scoop - blend with 12-18oz milk/ice1 1/2 scoop - blend with 18-24oz milk/iceI’ll note that I used the unsweetened vanilla almond milk. I also do tend to add a tbsp of keto chocolate chips and WOWWWWW it’s so so sooooo good. It really does keep me full for awhile. I tend to make it in the morning around 8am and then sip on it until 10am. I won’t eat again (and find myself eating smaller meals) until 1/2pm. This wasn’t typical before I started these shakes. All in all - they taste fantastic. Do not start with 2 full scoops, you’ll be so bloated. Start with chocolate if you have a sweet tooth. The strawberry is literally the best shake I’ve ever tasted. Please don’t ever get rid of the strawberry hahaI haven’t noticed any changes in my IBS-C as far as bowel movements, or GI symptoms/flares. This isn’t a good or bad thing, just notating. But the GLP-1 benefits have for sure made a huge impact.

Great chocolate flavor, high protein and high fiber, and zero sugar
This one is tasty! Great chocolate flavor, both high protein and high fiber, which is pretty rare, and zero sugar. Smooth texture, not gritty at all, which is impressive. It thickens a bit, so instructions suggest you drink within half an hour of preparing. I mix with my unsweetened soy milk, add a dash of my favorite sugar free, zero glycemic all natural sweetener, blend with my frother or a few pulses of my magic bullet blender, and it's good to go. Delicious! Sometimes I had a bit of mushroom coffee powder for an iced mocha vibe. It's also a Black owned business which I enjoy supporting. And a superlative product. There are no wheat ingredients used, but they do use oats that are not certified gluten free. I'm gluten sensitive, but I'm not experiencing issues taking it a few times a week, except a little mild congestion. I'm still hoping they go certified GF or, better yet, use purity protocol oats. But if that's not an issue for you, it's a great product! I order the chocolate, but it comes in strawberry and vanilla flavors too. Enjoy!

Tastes awful, extreme gastric distress
I used this for 5 days. Started with one scoop shaken with water and ice. It tasted awful with a nasty sucralose aftertaste. The texture was gritty. My stomach made horrible rumbling noises for 4 hours, and it gave me diarrhea. Tried adding 1 heaping tablespoon of allulose (which I historically tolerate well) along with 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder, both per scoop. I tried using 2 scoops on the fifth day, just to see how it compared to a single scoop. It was super thick and no matter how much I shook it up, there were big slimy lumps of mix that wouldn’t mix in. I just can’t keep choking this stuff down, and the only side benefit I saw was wanting less food. Not worth all the issues mentioned above.
