Love that it plugs in instead of those plug in batteries. We just started playing with it and can't wait to use it in the water. I'll update once we use it that way.

Major bummer! The charging cable and even installing batteries, this didn't work. It feels cheaply made too. Not sure how the other people's reviews can even state that this toy is great.

Just unboxed and charged the shark yesterday! Got this for my sons birthday he is 10 and the shark offers so much fun. It’s fast does cool spins and Willys! It’ll also nose dove and drive. Very fun remote shark definitely 10/10 recommended! And a great price too!

The media could not be loaded. I’m new to RC cars and controllers in general. This remote came with clear concise instructions but I couldn’t figure out how to make a L or R turn without the car going in 360’ circles. Then I thought maybe you had to turn the remote for R or L turn while ALMOST simultaneously using remote to go forward or backward. That seemed to work but boy do I need practice. Speaking of 360’s…..this SharkCar handles them with perfection…..until you try one on a carpeted surface. No go. However, it makes all other moves easily on the carpeted surface. I tried figuring out how to do a wheelie but couldn’t so that’s a lesson for another day. As far as it being ran in water I can’t say as there are no bodies of water with a shoreline within a reasonable distance from my house. I thought about trying in out in the bathtub but was a little afraid it wouldn’t be totally waterproof if submerged and there is no surface for the wheels to grasp. Also because I read in another review that it had a hard time “swimming” in deep water. I got this car for my 3 year old grandson but honestly he’s happier either being chased by the car or watching videos of the car being used by others. Gotta get him participating in activities instead of so much time on screens…..I digress. In any case I’m going to master this thing if it kills me and I appreciate the simplicity of the remote. Other RC car remotes I’ve tried have simply been too complicated for young children and/or older baby boomers. I do really appreciate the fact this car can be charged directly with a USB charger instead of having to remove the battery every time it needed to be charged or changed out. What a time and aggravation saver. No more little screws getting dropped it lost. All toys should have this capability. This method also enables a child to charge the car n their own. The remote does require batteries but they are simple to change out. Another feature my grandson really liked were the 2 non removable figures inside the car. He is always putting “people” in his cars and trucks and he noticed this tiny detail immediately. The lights are a nice touch but nothing spectacular. It was also a relief that the car doesn’t play music as I’m not stuck listening to the same tune over and over. I gave this product 4 stars because of not being able to spin on carpet. I definitely recommend this car otherwise, especially for young children or beginners.
