This thing is da bomb! (meaning EXCELLENT)
A recent leg injury required a scooter that was travel friendly using a regular SUV. Reviewed from a person in their late 50s.Hauling and FoldingThe main body is easy to fold as well as shortening the handle bar staff. When folded, the wheels are always in play (never locked), so you can pull or push the folded scooter body. If you turn it on with the key, you can even power drive the folded body if needed (but it can't turn). It is heavy, all of 65 pounds or more without the seat. I had difficulty lifting the scooter body into the back of the SUV because of health reasons. But then a friend offered an old pet ramp. Although it's not wide enough for the entire 21" scooter base, I can angle one wheel up the ramp that significantly made loading easier.OperationThis scooter has 3 settings powered by twisting the right handle bar. When power is engaged the response has a slight delay before moving forward. The low speed ranges from slow creep to fast walk. The second setting goes from average walk to a fast jog! I didn't try the third setting because I'm sure I would be breaking the speed limit on some residential streets! The turning radius is wide so don't expect to turn a tight corner. A red button when depressed will allow the scooter to move in reverse. On the left is a manual squeeze break handle which is definitely needed going down ramps!TerrainThis is a zippy transport over paved areas and hard paths with rock or wood chips. It could pass through a level lawn if needed but obviously does not like soft surfaces like sand or deep gravel. It managed to cross speed bumps with a slight boost in speed. The scooter handled inclines OK but that's what the higher settings are for - to have the pulling power to get up long steep ramps.Carrying powerThis scooter has enough power to cart not only the person but a good deal of shopping items. When I purchased it, there was a picture of a wire basket on the back of the seat but no direct promise in the description. Of course, no wire basket arrived. So I did the redneck equivalent of bungee-cording a laundry basket to the seat - works great for dry goods but not liquid or canned items. But the missing wire basket didn't look like it could hold that type of weight either. I didn't even bother with the flimsy front basket that was included with the scooter. I just hang bagged items on the handle bars. I may experiment with towing one of those collapsible wagons because this scooter seems to have the hauling power.BatteryI ran this scooter for 8 hours around a 5 mile area in an outdoor place like fair grounds, although it was stop and go, not 8 hours constantly moving. At the end of the day, the battery meter still read three bars! My conclusion is I felt safe running this scooter on a single charge all day in a strange location without fear of it dying. In conclusion, this scooter is handy, speedy, easy to transport and easy to set up or fold up. I'd highly recommend it if you can lift 65-70 pounds OR get a simple ramp to roll the folded body into a car trunk or SUV.

No manual
There was no manual included in the box nor was there any baskets front or back. I used the scooter for about three weeks about once a week and now it’s folded up and won’t unfold. I can’t get any help from Amazon or from the distributor . There is no headlights and the paint was all scratched up. I think I was sent a returned unit and I would like to return this one and get a brand new unit with all the features advertised. Is there anything I can do to get any help?

This scooter was very easy to put together and fold up. Have had lots of complements and what company did I purchase from?Great battery life, folding easy,& great for anywhere and never had a problem with speed for short time I had it. Dislike: my scooter died so I thought it was out of power but when charged it fully the scooter in flat position unfolded wouldn't go front or reverse . So bummed..loved my scooter and company quickly responded and gave me full refund, 5 Stars ***** to Alton Electronics

Great little scooter
It has plenty of speed; easy to drive and if I run into gravel area, it handles it well. I sometimes am out around sundown so headlight is good idea. Good price and well worth the money. Definately recommend.

Where do you get parts?????
I've contacted, Amazon, CulverGroup, can't find anyone at Alton Electronics, my husband has MS and needs his mobility scooter. No one can answer one question, his Throttle is not working so it won't move, we just need to know where to buy a replacement throttle its not that hard. You pay 2,000 dollars for durable equipment, you should be able to just call and order a replacement part. Dawn Morrow very unhappy customer.

FALSE ADVERTISING
Where is the basket that goes on the back? The only reason I bought this is because it shows a basket on the back and says front and back storage. Also i have a mid size car and it did not fit in my truck. This is all false advertising.
