ACDelco GM Original Equipment 84634113 Battery Negative Cable

Perfect fit for my 2016 Silverado 1500 WT. My truck would randomly shut off while driving for a half a second or during turns. Since replacing the cable I have had 0 shut offs. One thing I did notice is this replacement cable has extra heat shield tape around the ground that connects to the engine block which is great because the wire i replaced was melted and showed corrosion in that area.

This fit perfectly for my 2015 Silverado Z71. I had the notorious electrical issue that caused my truck to shut off during a slow turn while driving. So far, it seems to have solved the problem. I replaced this cable and the positive terminal block.

Replaced original batt negative cable on 2015 GMC Sierra... only 40k miles and the cable had wicked water and rotted itself. Resulting in erratic electronics behavior, and all sorts of seemingly random problems. I'd confirmed the cable was bad first by feel, you could just tell... Then by running a parallel ground with some BX I had laying around. Rand that for a while, but then the second run that goes to the block / starter area clearly began having an issue, as I'd only ran the BX to the frame rail portion. Which cleared up the electronics issues... But then one day I had a slow start, already had this cable laying in its box, in the kitchen... and went straight home from work and swapped it over, never to have another issue again... in some 4k miles at least.

Fixed my ground issues I was having

Amazon said this would fit my 2014 GMC Sierra—but it didn’t. The eyelets for the body ground were fine, but the engine block connector was a no-go unless I wanted to start cutting tabs off (which I’m not doing on a so-called OEM part).Outside of the fitment issue, the build quality felt solid. Good gauge wire, clean connections—it looked and felt like a legit OEM cable. If it had fit properly, I’d say it was worth the price.Returned it without using, so I can’t speak to performance or durability.

Looks feels and performs as oem

Direct GM replacement. Box had the holligram sticker with part number on it from GM and fit perfectly.

This doesn’t fit 2014- Silverado the main end is much smaller and different than the one on my truck 2014 Silverado 1500 5.3L ruined it trying to make it work.
