These solar candles are exactly what I was hoping for. They give off a lovely, gentle flickering glow that looks just like a real flame — without the fire risk! I popped them into my outdoor lanterns and they came on automatically at dusk, staying lit until dawn.No switches, no fuss — just leave them in a sunny spot to charge. Even after a cloudy day, they still lasted through the evening. Waterproof too, so I don’t need to bring them in when it rains. I have lots of solar lights in the garden - these look simply fab (no charging panel on show - you simply plonk them in day/sunlight and they charge)... once the sun has set, they flicker and glow romantically and actually give off a fair amount of light - they are very lightweight and the same size as church candles (three different in one set, in my case)So impressed I ended up buying two sets of these lovely lights.NOTE: they work with a rechargeable battery so, if they ever do stop working (and they've been glowing for months now) I'd replace the battery. They are water proof but shouldn't sit in water (as you can remove the base to turn them off / replace the battery).These are the first lights to come on at dusk and the last to switch off at dawn (were still on at 6am the morning after a fairly overcast day in May!) Deffo recommend

They're good, work well with little charge. Not extremely bright, but give a warm glow to any garden

A nice look to the candles, especially when they worked, but despite hours of sunshine to recharge them they went out, in one case, never to work again.

There's a solar aa battery inside which I assume you can replacs, but it's hard to see where the solar panel is and once it's switched on it is on permanently (unlike others where it senses the light and switches off). If you are using these indoors they are probably fine as you can turn them on and off, but I wanted to use these outdoors inside a lamp, so the battery will likely drain quickly. The plus side is the light is nice and the flicker is realistic.

These candles are working great and charging even if sat in the shade.I've had them for two weeks now, with one of them in full sun and the other two in my gazebo. The charge lasts for hours even for the one that's in full shade all day long (last picture).I can't say anything about water ingress, as it hasn't rained and there isn't much moisture either, but the solar panel together with the electric kit and the battery are placed inside, at the bottom of the candle, so the only water that might eventually get in will be from condensation.All in all, awesome value for the price.

Really pleased arrived quickly there huge. Just put them in the garden to charge.
