Duralex 6 cm LYS Stacking Bowl, Pack of 4, Transparent

This 23cm Duralex Lys bowl is the perfect bowl for sourdough, especially if you are a fan of the sourdough whisperer/Foodbod method and master recipe. This is, in fact, the exact bowl she uses. The Master Loaf will reach the top of the bowl exactly and be slightly domed once doubled. If the recipe is halved, it will reach the second set of double lines and be domed.This bowl is sturdy, nice and wide so easy to get your hands in and stretch the dough. Made from tempered glass, it's durable and resistant to chips and cracks. It's stackable as well. Apparently there is a lid available for it, but I have not seen it.It holds 1.5 litres of water or a 900gram dough recipe, doubled.

After waiting for ages and blaming the seller my parcel has just been delivered by someone who lives miles away as Royal Mail put them through the wrong door. the bowels are of good quality and perfect for proofing sourdough, I apologise to the seller for my messages blaming them. only problem is I have got them from somewhere else now but will keep them as they are perfect for the job and not easy to get

Perfect for puddings (ice cream, youghurt) and sauces. I love the clear glass and simple design, and the fact that they are stackable and take little space.

These little bowls have a variety of uses. I use mine on top of cups to keep my tea warm, also to put nuts or dried fruit for small snacks. They are durable and elegantly simple, a very functional, practical product at a great price.

Good set of small bowls, useful for so many things such as small desserts, weighing out ingredients, breaking eggs into, covering mugs of tea, etc. They feel sturdy and are fine in the dishwasher.

Recommended by sourdough maker on her blog. Good value useful and stack nicely. Look good too. Arrives very well packed. My third!!

Only needed two little bowls to replace an old shattered one. Used for olives, pickles, nuts, dips, snacks.Even used to poach an egg. Very durable and adaptable. Used for a small diet friendly pudding/dessert such as fruit and yoghurt

I'm probably being harsh by giving only three stars.The bowls are exactly what I wanted them to be.Unfortunately some clown in 'packaging' thought it wouldbe a good idea to put glass bowls at the bottom of a boxwithout any protection. The bowls arrived in a big boxwith loads of paper twists on top but nothing below thebowls and two (surprisingly it wasn't more) were broken.Buy them and you will be lucky to get four out of the six.
