The days of sweating are finally over!
There's so much to talk about, so please bare with me. To start of, I'm from Puerto Rico, a small tropical island that's very humid and hot. I've always carried portable fans, power banks and cables, which are too bulky to carry around, and still a fan blows hot air. While looking for a compact fan to buy, I stumbled across this neck cooler. I was skeptical about a product like this, so I made a research before buying it, since the price tag seemed a bit high. After I received the neck cooler and turned it on... my goodness! I felt what I believe Heaven feels like. It's so refreshing. The cooling plates do get cooled down quick, but it takes a few minutes to feel it blowing a bit of cooler air. Of course, it's not gonna be as cold as an actual air conditioner, but it does blow cooler air that you can notice the difference, compared to the outdoor temperature or using a regular fan. Since it has a small radiator near the cooling plates, it first needs to cool down your neck, to even the temperature between the skin and the cooling plates, so that the radiator can start getting cold and be able to cool the air as it passes through. Although it doesn't blow air directly to the face, it's not needed since you'll feel cool after a few minutes of usage. But if needed, it can be removed from the neck, and it can be held by the hands or it can be put down on the base holder, and it turns it in to a desk fan, so the cold air can be blown directly to the face. The touchscreen is nice, but controlling it over the app, it's much better. I like that the mode switch button, works as a pause/continue button, so that when I feel refreshed, I just pause it to preserve battery life, and when I want to use it again, i just press the mode switch button and it starts cooling again.Battery life is alright. I've managed to get about 2 and a half hours of continuous usage, on the coldest option and highest fan speed. Thankfully it can be used continuously while it's connected to a USB power bank. The speaker is a nice addition for some users, but not for me. It's not that clear for music playback. As for extreme heat environments, I've seen people complaining that it doesn't cool or doesn't work properly. If you have the app, it recommends setting the temperature to a higher degree and change the fan speed, in order to have a better experience. It's all calculated automatically based on the current temperature it senses. I found that feature to work great and it really makes a difference.I'm not too convinced on the auto mode, since it doesn't fluctuate the fan speed as I was expecting. What I've seen, it's that it changes the temperature only.Overall there's still room for improvement. A bigger battery would be great. I mean, yes, it would be heavier, but it's not gonna be something that will bother, since you'll feel so relieved by being cooled down and refreshed on summer, that you won't even notice it.

The back of the unit gets HOT
I asked Ranvoo rep about why my device was getting hot in the back of the unit. The response was that the unit absorbed heat from the user's body. So, I performed an experiment. I turned on the unit and then placed the unit on a cool counter top. I waited a few minutes before touching the unit but when I did touch the back of the unit it was HOT. It is clearly the unit getting HOT. Defeats the purpose of a cooling device especially at this price point.

Decent neck AC, but not for Texas summer.
Bought AICE3 as replacement for Coolify 3 with expectation that aice3 would be better..FeaturesTouchscreen is really good, you no need to use app with it at all, everything can be done just via screen menu. Cooler cupports quick charge 3.0, maximum 18W, what my multimeter showed.AICE3 work inside (78F)Was curious if temperature of plates really would drop down to 60F as it allows to set, in Coolify 3 the least I got was 69F. Was surprised, but after several minutes plates temperature really dropped to 60F, as you may see on the photo. Temperature of the back side of the cooler slightly increased.AICE3 work outside (100F)Plates still weer keeping lower temperature than ambient. Plates showed 82-86F. The back of the cooler heats up a lot, after 30 min walk I simply was not able to keep it on my neck, because it started harm my neck. Temperature of the back of aice3 went up to 107.7F, despite left and right sides, even top of them were 96.8, more than 10 degrees less! But back side always touches the neck and it shouldn't work like heater during 100F heat outside. I can't imagine if I tried to charge it during use outside..VerdictCool neck cooler, much better than Coolify 3. Despite all the nice features and cold plates it bad designed to not harm the neck if you have high temperatures outside, because the back of the AICE3 just heats it, that part of the cooler shouldn't work as heater. If you have temperatures outside around 85F, this device should be fine, but still heating problem exists...
