The risers click together easily to add more height, while the deep well of the top cup is deep and wide enough to accommodate my bed rollars. Stacking 2 together adds almost 4.6" so it might be too high for an elderly person. The cushions that go between riser and floor do not have adhesive, so if you try to move the bed risers, the cushions won't move with the riser. That is a negative because the only way to move the riser with the pad is to take the mattress off the bed to reposition the risers. Got to position the bed correctly the first time unless you just like weightlifting your mattress. This may not be an issue on carpet as I don't think you would need the pads on carpet. However, they are much sturdier than another brand that I had to return. I wanted the extra height in order to temporarily store a great deal of boxes under my bed as I transition to a smaller place. These provide a stable space to do that. My spread still covers to the floor, so the clunky look is not an issue for me. Not sure I would use them in a living room setting as they are not esthetically pretty. Bottomline: functional, stable, not pretty and not easily moved. Still a good option for me and better than alternative products for someone a bit older.

These work just as they should, and hold our sofa with no problem. You will probably need two people to put them on, one to lift, and one to slide the riser under.

Works according to my expectations. Only issue is the bottom. Rubber pad falls off easily.

I'm so happy to have my bed risers. They bring the bed up so that it is less hard on my back getting out of bed, and they allow room for under-bed storage. The hard rubber seems sturdy. They are unobtrusive in appearance with simple, sleek lines.Each riser came in three pieces: a bottom cap that fits over the end, the main riser, and a self-adhesive rubber piece that fits inside the indentation. I was unsure if the sticky side should be down against the riser or up against the furniture leg to keep it from sliding. I placed it sticky side up, but in retrospect that may be the wrong way because it will tend to collect dust. However, the adhesive is really strong, so I can't change it now.Based on using this out of the box I would recommend these. I can't speak to long-term durability yet.

While my husband was recovering from having his hip replaced he wasn't able to sit in a chair of average height due to the angle the hip joint is forced to bend. I got these risers and they were the perfect height. Made of hard rubber, they don't scratch the floor or the furniture. They don't allow the chairs to slip around at all. They are the perfect solution!

They're kinda bigger than I thought (like the base is over 4 inches, which ls odd, give that in the photos, it doesn't look like the base is THAT much wider than the top). And they are kinda clunky looking but they are easy enough to put in place, don't seem to make my bed wobble in the least, and add the right amount of height for my under-bed storage. I can't quite say how sturdy they are yet because I've only had them for a couple of days. But if I have any issues, I will update.As for the price: Yeah, I can't figure out why six blocks of plastic made in China cost $30 all told. I chose these over the cheaper ones because honestly, I didn't want to deal with any busted block hassle.

This product is great! I was quite skeptical about using bed risers simply because I ultimately expected them to be cheap and flimsy, but after setting them up yesterday, I’m a believer! Even after the kid test, the dog test, and the *ahem* test, my bed didn’t budge an inch!The grips that go in the top and around the bottom work like a charm, and honestly, I bet a truck could drive over one and it would be just fine!Now to buy longer bedding and under bed storage and I’ll be all set!

The price was right. The blocks have a wood grain but they made of a durable plastic. They have no skid bottoms to hold the bed frame in place.

Bought these for our two week road trip to elevate the head of the bed in the hotel rooms (for medical reasons). These worked amazingly well and were small enough to pack in the suitcase. I love that they are stackable and sturdy
