Good pictures and informative

I gave this title four stars because I found that I've seen many of the crystal clear pictures before in my other rather detailed references devoted to these vehicles. That said, perhaps my rating of four isn't fair since this book does do what it sets out to do, which is provide a well-illustrated and concise history of US half tracks used during the war. The book contains many useful photographs, and I am happy to have it on my shelf. That said, if the subject REALLY interests you; there are other volumes out there you might want to look at if you want more detail -- however, if you have a passing interest in these vehicles, or are interested in picking up a book that is relatively small and relatively inexpensive, then this Legends of Warfare Title should serve you well. Think of my four-start rating as a four-and-a-half star rating.

I very much like the wealth of photos, both historical and currant and the technical information on the various models of the venerated half track vehicle.
